The World Internet Conference (WIC) Asia-Pacific Summit is scheduled to be held in Hong Kong from April 13 to 14, focusing on digital intelligence empowerment and innovative development, according to a press conference held in Beijing on Tuesday.
The summit will feature the opening ceremony, and the main forum and WIC Distinguished Contribution Award ceremony, plus six sub-forums, which will highlight AI (artificial intelligence) agent innovation and application, digital finance, and AI security governance.
The summit will also release more than 10 reports on the three major topics of "AI for people's livelihood," "digital finance" and "AI governance," systematically presenting the cutting-edge exploration and in-depth thinking of AI empowering society, according to the press conference.
The inaugural WIC Asia-Pacific Summit, held in Hong Kong in April 2025, drew nearly 1,000 participants from over 50 countries and regions.
