As long as the United States and Israel continue their aggression, they will certainly face escalated attacks, said an official of Yemen's Houthi group on Saturday, warning that the armed group has now only entered "a very small part of the battle."

Hizam Al-Assad, political bureau member of the Houthis, made the remarks in the capital city of Sanaa in an exclusive interview with the China Global Television Network (CGTN).

He said that if the military operations launched by the United States and Israel continue to escalate, they will confront escalated responses at various levels.

"Any military escalation by the American or Israeli enemy, whether against the Islamic Republic of Iran or any faction of the resistance, there are certainly options, and there are escalatory phases that the Yemeni armed forces will carry out at various levels. Our armed forces have many, many deterrent and decisive surprises at hand along this path. Regarding coordination, the joint operation room between the Yemeni armed forces, the Iranian forces, the Revolutionary Guard, and the other factions is at the highest level and is advancing in the first phase of the first round. This coordination includes intelligence sharing, strike coordination, various logistical and military aspects, as well as the tactical track and different pathways, including the strategic dimension within the framework of confronting this aggression and criminal transgression," said Al-Assad.

He said the United States should be responsible for any consequences from the war.

"Those who bear responsibility or consequences for any developments affecting waterways, regional security, or even global security are the United States. It has traveled over 10,000 miles to reach our region, committing aggression against Iran and the other peoples of our region. Therefore, it certainly bears the consequences and responsibility for any impacts, whether on the waterways or elsewhere. Yemen has so far entered only a very small part of this battle. In the coming days, as long as the aggression continues, there will certainly be escalating operations and different phases. We are now living in the first phase of the first round of support for our brothers in Iran," said Al-Assad.

The Houthis began launching missile and drone attacks against Israel on March 28 in support of its allied forces across the region, including those in Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, and Palestine, as tensions continue to rise in the Middle East.

The group, which has controlled Sanaa and much of northern Yemen since late 2014, previously supported Iran during last year's 12-day conflict with the United States and Israel.

The three astronauts of the Shenzhou-23 crewed spaceflight mission have boarded the spacecraft for a flight to China’s Tiangong space station.

The Shenzhou-23 crewed spaceship is scheduled to blast off at 23:08 Beijing Time (15:08 GMT) from northwest China's Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center.

The three Chinese astronauts, commander Zhu Yangzhu, spacecraft pilot Zhang Zhiyuan and payload specialist Lai Ka-ying, climbed aboard the spaceship with the help of technicians.

Following the launch, the astronauts will complete an in-orbit rotation with the outgoing Shenzhou-21 crew, and one of them will conduct a one-year in-orbit stay, double the usual duration of previous Shenzhou missions.

Notably, astronaut Lai Ka-ying is also the first astronaut from China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Shenzhou-23 marks the 40th flight of China's manned spaceflight program, and the seventh manned flight mission since the Tiangong space station entered its application and development phase in late 2022.
