China's domestically developed HH-200 commercial unmanned aerial transport system completed its maiden flight on Wednesday morning in Pucheng County, northwest China's Shaanxi Province, marking a new milestone in the country's aviation industry.

During the test flight, all aircraft systems and equipment operated normally, with the aircraft maintaining stable flight and successfully completing all planned maneuvers. The first flight was declared a complete success by the development team.

The HH-200 system, developed by the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC), consists of both an unmanned aerial drone and a ground control system. The drone boasts a maximum commercial payload of 1.5 tons and a maximum range of 2,360 kilometers.

Iran's main military command, Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, announced early Thursday that the Strait of Hormuz has been closed to all vessels, including oil tankers and commercial ships, due to security threats in the waterway.

The headquarters warned that any vessel attempting to transit the strait will be targeted.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy also announced that the Strait of Hormuz has been closed until further notice, as the United States has repeatedly violated the ceasefire.

The IRGC warned that no vessel is allowed to leave its anchorage in the Persian Gulf or the Gulf of Oman, and that approaching the strait will be regarded as collaborating with the enemy.
