China's domestically developed HH-200 commercial unmanned aerial transport system completed its maiden flight on Wednesday morning in Pucheng County, northwest China's Shaanxi Province, marking a new milestone in the country's aviation industry.

During the test flight, all aircraft systems and equipment operated normally, with the aircraft maintaining stable flight and successfully completing all planned maneuvers. The first flight was declared a complete success by the development team.

The HH-200 system, developed by the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC), consists of both an unmanned aerial drone and a ground control system. The drone boasts a maximum commercial payload of 1.5 tons and a maximum range of 2,360 kilometers.

A rare solar halo spectacle appeared over Wuxi County in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality on Friday morning.

The unusual phenomenon is caused by light refracting through ice crystals in thin patches of cloud.

With the sky originally clear, residents soon noticed a complete, ring-shaped halo forming around the sun, creating an effect that looked as though the sun had been adorned with a brilliant "colorful necklace."

The solar halo remained visible for nearly one hour before gradually faded, creating a dreamy and breathtaking view.
