The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) said on Saturday that Iran has drawn up and refined operational and defensive plans to counter potential threats, including ground combats, and will continue its military strategy, especially of managing and controlling the Strait of Hormuz.

In its statement, the IRGC said that Iran's defense forces are fully prepared across all fronts and intelligence systems.

It also said that U.S. military bases in the Middle East had suffered devastating blows during the current war, adding that the only option for the United States is to withdraw unconditionally from the region.

The IRGC also stressed that maintaining control over the Strait of Hormuz and deterring the United States and its regional allies remains a strategic priority.

On the same day, Iran's main military command -- Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters -- warned that Iranian armed forces would deliver a strong response if U.S. forces continue blockades, banditry and piracy in the region.

The statement said that Iranian forces are closely monitoring enemy movements and will continue to manage and maintain control over the Strait of Hormuz. It also said that Iran's military capability to safeguard sovereignty and national interests is stronger than ever.

Iran's Defense Ministry spokesman said that the enemy is seeking a face-saving exit from the quagmire of war, and their attempts to destroy Iran's missile and military power have failed, adding that the Strait of Hormuz is firmly under Iranian control, the semi-official ISNA news agency reported on Saturday.

The 6th Chinese Peacekeeping Helicopter Contingent to Abyei on Saturday successfully completed an emergency mission in support of the United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei (UNISFA).

The mission was triggered when a Ukrainian-registered UNISFA task helicopter suffered a sudden mechanical failure that left it unable to carry out its scheduled duties.

In response, the Chinese peacekeeping helicopter unit quickly mobilized, activated its emergency response plan, and dispatched helicopters to fill the operational gap. All four crews from the unit took to the skies that day, carrying out 16 flight missions.
