The 11th China (Beijing) Military Intelligent Technology Expo opened on Thursday at the China National Convention Center in Beijing, showcasing cutting-edge innovations in military intelligence.

Centering on the frontier trends of military intelligent development and highlighting the close integration of science and technology innovation with industrial innovation, the three-day event showcases China's latest achievements in the field of military intelligence.

This year's expo covers 50,000 square meters and features over 550 exhibitors showcasing more than 3,000 sci-tech innovations and integrated solutions.

Visitors can not only see the core equipment of military intelligence but also directly experience the cutting-edge momentum of its development.

In recent years, AI technology has been increasingly applied in military equipment.

At the expo, a compact AI intelligent equipment appliance can carry out intelligent tasks such as detecting various types of equipment within its database, generating maintenance plans, and providing instructions, greatly shortening the time needed to achieve combat readiness.

"It's very simple: just power it on and it's ready to use out of the box. In field scenarios, even without network connection, if you have a problem and ask it, it will immediately provide you with the corresponding maintenance plan, maintenance scenarios, and maintenance videos. It will push all that information to you instantly. It's like having a equipment maintenance expert with you at all times," said Guo Lanxia, an exhibitor.

The expo features ten themed exhibition zones, including AI and large models, unmanned systems and anti-drone technologies, military computers and portable devices, illustrating the dynamic momentum and innovative drive of the military technology industry.

An advanced flight simulator draws considerable attention.

"Our flight simulator, besides being adaptable to various aircraft types, also features a specially developed AI opponent. It can set up different scenarios and training environments to enhance pilots' combat capabilities during training and their ability to cope with various environmental changes, thereby improving tactical proficiency," said Duan Kai, another exhibitor.

During the expo, the 14th Conference on Command and Control is also being held simultaneously, featuring 17 high-end thematic forums on topics such as emergency intelligent command communications, cyberspace mapping, and electromagnetic environment utilization.

U.S. President Donald Trump's state visit to China will help expand cooperation between the world's two largest economies amid growing global uncertainty, according to a business insider.

Elliott Johnson, founder of Byron East, a platform to provide business consulting services in China, said the encounter is "hugely significant" not only for the two countries' economies, but for the global economy as well.

With the two leaders meeting in person, an event that does not occur every year, the visit is being viewed as a pivotal opportunity to set the tone for future cooperation between the two countries, he said.

"I would rate the meeting today between the two presidents as hugely significant to not only the economies of the United States and China, but the global economy. The global economy is very much intertwined with supply chains and logistics networks spreading well beyond just the US and China. In terms of the outcomes, the outcomes that I think I would like to see today, it is already a significant occasion with the two presidents meeting in person, which doesn't happen every year. And so from outcomes, I think mutual understanding across areas where the two countries can work together, increasing the number of areas of collaboration," said Johnson.

At the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, Trump is on a state visit to China from Wednesday to Friday.

A business delegation, including Tesla CEO Elon Musk, Apple CEO Tim Cook, and Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, accompanied Trump on this visit.
