Following Russian President Vladimir Putin's state visit to China, business communities of both countries are seeing expanding opportunities in bilateral trade and economic cooperation, said a senior representative from Yandex, a leading internet and e-commerce platform in Russia.
In an interview with China Global Television Network, Sergey Ustinov, news speaker and general manager of Ads in Asia Pacific of Yandex, highlighted the growing presence of Chinese brands in the Russian market and vice versa, and said the recent leaders' meeting is giving that trend a powerful push.
"What a high-level meeting like this does is send a clear signal to the broader business community in China that Russia is a market worth moving toward – seriously and strategically. For companies watching from the sidelines, that signal matters. For those already here, it will accelerate their ambitions," Ustinov said.
He added that as a platform bridging the Russian market with Chinese partners, Yandex sees major opportunities in the energetic moves of Chinese companies.
"Yandex will be ready. We have the ecosystem, the local expertise, and the partnerships to support Chinese companies at every stage of that journey," he said.
