"Red Capital" Welcomes New-Era Explorers
The Central Red Army lived and fought in Ruijin for five years and eight months, establishing it as the capital of the Temporary Central Government of the Chinese Soviet Republic. At the Ruijin Central Red Army Long March Decision and Departure Key Exhibition Park, scenes of decision-making and preparation on the eve of the Long March are showcased. In 1934, with the support of the people of Ruijin, the Central Red Army embarked on the Long March.

Mr. Liu Qionglin is a descendant of a Red Army soldier from Ruijin. His grandfather, as a Soviet area cadre, followed Mao Zedong to Ruijin to establish the Soviet government. He revealed that before the Red Army set off on the Long March, every household in Ruijin donated taro, sweet potatoes, and rice as supplies.

Ms. Liu Xi, head of the Management Office of Yunshishan Site, Ruijin Central Revolutionary Base Memorial Hall, introduced that about 200 young people from Hong Kong and Macao recently came to Ruijin to retrace the Long March route. "Currently, the Long March historical trail from Ruijin to Yudu is fully open, meeting the needs of tourists with different visiting preferences."

The Former Site of the Auditorium of the Provisional Central Government of the Chinese Soviet Republic, known as "The Great Hall of the People of that era," is also the site of the Second National Soviet Congress. The convening of the Second Congress has since become a historic source of Socialist democracy with Chinese characteristics. Today, the site has drawn visitors as a popular red tourism attraction, with smart facilities including self-service photo booths, designed to enhance the visitor experience. Among the recent visitors was Qiongda, an associate professor from Xizang Agricultural and Husbandry University, who came to Ruijin for training. "I deeply felt the process of the Red Army's arduous struggle to victory," she said. "We will carry forward this spirit in our daily work."

"Red Army Water" Awaits Visitors to Sip from History
In Shazhouba of Ruijin City, there is a special well called the "Red Well," which Mao Zedong personally dug to solve the local drinking water problem. Today, visitors can taste the well water with a "Red Army spoon."

Ms. Lai Qingying, a tour guide at the Red Well Site, described it as "the water that the most people in the world have drunk." She noted, "Nearly a million tourists visit the Red Well every year, and in the past two years, there has been a significant increase in tourists from Hong Kong and Macau, especially young people from Hong Kong and Macau who come here for study tours."
