The Iranian Foreign Ministry has received approval from Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei to form a working group on the Strait of Hormuz issue, said Deputy Speaker of the Iranian parliament Ali Nikzad on Wednesday.

This working group will coordinate with the armed forces and other institutions to draft the legal framework for the Strait of Hormuz, said Nikzad.

The relevant draft law has incorporated the opinions of institutions like the Iranian National Security Council and relevant individuals, he said.

A whale shark was filmed swimming near a small fishing boat off the coast of Fangchenggang City in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on Monday.

A local fisherman sailing around an offshore wind power project in the waters of Beibu Gulf saw the whale shark slowly approaching his dinghy, swimming alongside it briefly before gradually swimming away.

Whale sharks have a tendency of migrating to Beibu Gulf every May and June. The area's summer fishing moratorium provides them with abundant food sources.
