A two-day European Union (EU) Summit will be held in Brussels, Belgium, on Thursday and Friday, focusing on the situations in Ukraine and the Middle East, as well as EU competitiveness.
According to the agenda, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will brief the EU leaders on the latest developments in Ukraine. EU leaders will also discuss the progress of accession negotiations with Ukraine and Moldova.
On Middle East issues, attending leaders are expected to deliberate on the situation in Iran and its impact on energy prices, the situations in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, and also the situation in Lebanon.
The leaders will also address the financial framework for next stage, European security and defense, and migration issues, the agenda showed.
