Multiple areas in southern Iran were hit by U.S. attacks on Thursday, and Iran responded with ballistic missile strikes on U.S. targets.
Iran's semi-official Mehr news agency reported on Thursday that several explosions were heard in Iran's southern city of Bandar Abbas. And many places in the southern province of Bushehr were also attacked by the U.S. military, including the surrounding areas of the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant.
The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) issued a statement on Thursday that during the second phase of its response to the U.S. military attacks, its Aerospace Force fired 10 ballistic missiles on a U.S. command and control center and the air base located in Azraq, Jordan. The IRGC warned that if the U.S. military were to launch another military operation, other U.S. bases in the region would be subjected to fierce attacks from Iran.
