Slovak President Peter Pellegrini expressed amazement at China's robotics achievements during a visit to a robot center in Beijing on Tuesday, vowing to promote bilateral exchanges and cooperation in the tech sector.
Pellegrini visited the world's first embodied intelligence robot 4S store, known as Robot Mall, at Beijing E-Town on Tuesday afternoon.
He explored cutting-edge humanoid robots, watched a robot perform Tai Chi, and even played a friendly game of basketball with robots.
Pellegrini noted that he would prioritize cooperation with China by promoting the application of Chinese technologies in Slovakia, and vowed to strengthen youth exchanges to enhance bilateral friendship.
"I think this would be something where I would focus on for the future - to combine technology from China and implementation programs in Slovakia. And that can be a wonderful synergy between technology and implementation. And we'll find a way how to bring more students from China to Slovakia. And also a lot of students to study in China, and to not just study, but to work together on some new projects or scientific projects or something like that. And I think this is the key, when we start and we connect young generation, that is a good base for great friendly relationships, also for the future, for the next decades," said Pellegrini.
Pellegrini is paying a state visit to China from July 27 to 29 at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping.
