Dolphin, the 13th typhoon of 2026, brought gale-force winds and torrential rain to Shanghai on Sunday morning.
According to the local meteorological observatory, the typhoon is expected to continue affecting the city with strong winds and heavy rains through Tuesday, with the heaviest downpours forecast from Sunday night to Monday night.
Total accumulated rainfall throughout its stay is projected at 150 to 180 millimeters, possibly up to 250 millimeters in some areas, with maximum hourly rainfall at 60 to 80 millimeters.
