RAMINVEST HOLDING DIFC Unveils an Integrated Ecosystem for Commodity Trade with Africa

2026-09-03 16:00 Last Updated At:16:25

WINCOMMODITIES, WINLOGISTICS, FINATRADES, WINVESTNET and WIN GOLD & METALS combine bonded fulfilment, logistics, settlement, financing and natural resources in a single operating chain

DUBAI, UAE, Sept. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- RAMINVEST HOLDING DIFC today unveiled an integrated commodities ecosystem connecting international suppliers, African buyers, producers and institutional counterparties. At its centre is WINCOMMODITIES, a B2B fulfilment platform giving international exporters access to African markets through consignment inventory held in bonded warehouses.

Under the model, exporters place commodities into bonded hubs while retaining title to their goods. Inventory is then sold locally, based on cash-&-carry, in the quantities buyers require, broken lots included, removing the dependency on full-container or vessel-sized transactions. Rather than a conventional marketplace, the ecosystem connects the layers a physical commodity transaction needs: sourcing, inventory positioning, warehousing, logistics, settlement and trade finance.

An integrated trade infrastructure

WINCOMMODITIES is the commercial and fulfilment layer, matching commodity inventory with African demand and coordinating transactions from bonded stock.

WINLOGISTICS is the physical execution layer, moving commodities from international origin to bonded hubs and on to buyers, including customs coordination and last-mile delivery.

FINATRADES FINANCE SA, a regulated Swiss financial platform, providing global settlement, trade-finance and barter solutions. Its role matters most, as it guarantees the payments, where limited hard-currency access constrains otherwise viable transactions.

WINVESTNET is the investment and capital-connectivity component, linking commodity and natural-resources opportunities with dedicated funds and strategic partners.

WIN GOLD & METALS extends the ecosystem upstream into gold, precious metals and strategic natural resources, connecting African production with international commodity markets.

Resources & Supply - Trade - Bonded Warehousing - Logistics - Settlement & Finance - African Buyers

Phased hub network

Deployment is demand-led, beginning with strategic West African gateways and expanding toward a planned network of 14 bonded hubs combining coastal and landlocked markets. The objective is to let international exporters reach African demand without every transaction starting as a large shipment, and to give African buyers internationally sourced commodities in commercially appropriate quantities. The chain runs in both directions, carrying imports into Africa and African commodities out to international markets.

"Africa does not lack demand, resources or commercial opportunities. The challenge is connecting them through efficient infrastructure," said Reda Rami, Chairman of RAMINVEST HOLDING DIFC. "WINCOMMODITIES is the fulfilment engine, but the strength of the model comes from the ecosystem operating around it."

RAMINVEST HOLDING DIFC Unveils an Integrated Ecosystem for Commodity Trade with Africa

From Spanish markets to tapas Sundays, the fourth edition of ESDS returns with a showcase of events and promotions from over 40 Spanish food and beverage partners in Singapore

SINGAPORE, Sept. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- ¡Venga! Our Little Red Dot once again plays host to the fourth edition of Eat Spain Drink Spain (ESDS), the largest fiesta of Spanish gastronomy in Singapore, with more than 40 mouthwatering events and promotions islandwide from 1 to 15 September 2026. Rediscover this land of taste across a myriad of venues, from restaurants and grocers to beloved brands, including over 40 local importers, distributors, restaurants and retailers, all coming together to showcase the best of Spain – from gourmet foods to exceptional wines.

In addition to these exciting events, the campaign also celebrates the conferment of the coveted "Restaurants from Spain" (RFS) certification of 15 restaurants, as well as the "Colmados from Spain" (CFS) certification awarded to 2 grocers in Singapore. These global certification programs from Spain are the hallmark of authentic cuisine and produce that guarantee the quality standards of these establishments – recognising them as excellent examples of the shared desire to offer Spain on a plate around the world.

RFS, a certification that is renewed biannually, recognises and establishes quality standards and criteria for the consumer who is looking for quality Spanish cuisine. The restaurant's team also receives specialised training in both gastronomy and Spanish wines, and facilitates access to a greater number of suppliers of Spanish products. Meanwhile, CFS recognises and supports exemplary food and wine stores around the globe focused on authentic products from Spain. The idea behind this initiative is to provide the consumer with high standards and criteria to find the real experience when looking for authentic Spanish products.

ESDS 2026 will also showcase a stellar line-up of 23 registered food and beverage partners from Spain and Singapore.

Refer to Annex A for the full list of restaurants and grocers awarded the RFS and CFS certifications in Singapore, and the registered food and beverage partners.

ESDS is proudly organised by the Spain Trade and Investment (ICEX) via the Economic and Commercial Office of the Embassy of Spain in Singapore, and Alimentos de España as part of the #SpainFoodNation campaign.

Events that Celebrate Spanish Gastronomy

From now through the run of Eat Spain Drink Spain 2026 and beyond, an exciting lineup of events awaits islandwide. Here are the key highlights not to be missed:

1. Spanish Gastronomy at Mosella, Pan Pacific Orchard

Tapas Lunch Promotion

1 to 15 September | Tapas from $9

Olive-inspired Mediterranean Saturday Brunch

5 & 12 September | $128 per person

Sunday Tapas Galore

6 & 13 September | $78 per person

Mosella kickstarts ESDS with a special Tapas Lunch Promotion, inviting diners to gather over a vibrant spread of Spanish favourites. Highlights include Chilled Gazpacho Verde, Gambas Al Ajillo, Chargrilled Octopus, Jamón Ibérico de Bellota and more. Adding to the convivial spirit is a tiered pricing concept where the more tapas you order, the lower the price per dish, with tapas going for as low as $9 each. Designed for sharing, the promotion makes for an ideal lunch gathering, allowing diners to sample a variety of Spanish flavours and immerse themselves in the festivities without an overly indulgent meal.

Mosella's Saturday Mediterranean Brunch offers a vibrant dining experience, beginning with an abundant selection of tapas, freshly shucked oysters, charcuterie, and artisanal cheeses. Guests can enjoy live stations featuring Josper-grilled meats, fresh seafood, and Spanish paella prepared to order, bringing the flavours and warmth of the Mediterranean to life. For ESDS, Mosella turns the spotlight on Spain's most iconic crop — the olive, woven through every course of the Saturday Brunch.

The grazing station opens with green olives in the white bean salad, while the Josper grill turns out Chicken Marbella braised with olives, prunes and capers, and a Frittata starring Castelvetrano olives with Manchego. Even the salmon is finished with Kalamata olives and capers. The theme carries into desserts at The Olive Harvest Dessert Table, with Olive Grove (olive oil mousse, almond sponge), Amalfi Lemon Cake with lemon olive oil sponge, and a Dark Chocolate Tart built on extra virgin olive oil — plus an Olive Oil Macaron among the petite fours. An exclusive Olive Tasting spread rounds it out with six varieties, from Gordal to Leccino, served with charcoal bread and EVOO.

The brunch experience is complemented by a free-flow Champagne Experience at $90 per person, which includes Taittinger Brut Champagne, House White Wine, House Red Wine, Aperol Spritz, White Port & Tonic.

On Sunday, discover the full spectrum of flavours at Mosella with an unlimited tapas experience designed for curious palates. From timeless Spanish classics to contemporary Mediterranean favourites, enjoy unlimited servings of handcrafted tapas before choosing your preferred paella for the table and ending on a sweet note with classic Spanish desserts. For an even more indulgent experience, elevate your meal with premium Josper grilled specialties at an additional charge.

These Spanish promotions at Mosella are made possible in partnership with Spanish grocer Ecolah and wine distributor Tres Monos Distribution, bringing guests the ultimate authentic Spanish experience.

2. Eat Spain Drink Spain at Amor

1 to 30 September | Set Menus at $38 (lunch), $148 (dinner)

Partnered with Ewineasia and Ecolah

ESDS welcomes Amor, which newly joins this celebration of Spanish gastronomy with two exclusive menus: a 3-course set lunch and a 5-course set dinner. Curated by Head Chef Wang and featuring Spanish produce and wines from Ecolah and Ewineasia, the menu seamlessly blends Spanish classics with modern interpretations of Spanish cuisine.

Savour the textures of tapas Lacon Gallego, where the traditional Spanish dish of cured pork shoulder, boiled potatoes, olive oil and paprika is elevated with premium touches of Ibérico roasted ham and smoked potato foam. Also on the dinner menu is Chef Wang's iconic Happy Eggggg, a 65°C onsen egg with pumpkin purée, truffle sabayon, and jamón in a martini glass. Don't miss the Wagyu Short Rib, grilled over charcoal à la Catalan style, and paired with a tangy sofrito and artichoke purée. Of course, Amor's famous Basque Burnt Cheesecake refined with a savoury blue cheese complexity also makes an appearance.

Enhancing the menus at the Gaudí-inspired restaurant is a beverage programme by Ewineasia, a partner of this year's ESDS campaign. The leading online fine wine and spirits retailer and wholesaler based in Singapore specialises in boutique, artisanal, and hard-to-find family-owned winery selections from around the world. From $42, diners can pair their meal with Spanish wines that include the Perelada Blue Festival Brut Reserva NV, a classic Spanish sparkling wine from Catalonia, and the Val de Meigas Albariño 2024 crafted by winemaker Rebeca Barral in the Salnés Valley, the historic heart of the Rías Baixas region, a nod to Galician folklore.

3. Spanish Tuna Specials at Esquina

1 to 12 September | Tapas and dishes from $8

Partnered with Ecolah and HERPAC

This September, Esquina joins the island-wide ESDS celebration with the launch of its Spanish Bluefin Tuna Specials. The modern Spanish tapas bar honours Spain's rich gastronomic heritage with a menu built entirely around pristine bluefin and yellowfin tuna sustainably sourced from the storied fishing coasts of Cádiz. Guests can savour the tradition of ronqueo — the age-old Andalusian art of hand-butchering tuna — from the smoky bite of the Tuna Gilda Pintxo and the delicate Chutoro Tartlet with ikura and piparras chili, to a refreshing Tuna Tartar paired with apple & celery sorbet and mentaiko salad, and a Cádiz-steyle Salmorejo finished with mojama-cured yellowfin tuna loin and salted egg fish skin. Each dish is a tribute to Spain's centuries-old salting, smoking, and curing traditions, brought vividly to life through Esquina's contemporary tapas lens.

This menu is made possible through Esquina's partnership with two key purveyors of Spanish quality, Ecolah and HERPAC. HERPAC, a third-generation family business founded in 1986 in Barbate, Cádiz, by the Pacheco brothers, is one of Spain's most respected names in cured, smoked, and preserved tuna.

Beyond the tuna specials, Esquina extends the celebration with an exclusive wine pairing dinner on 15 September. The evening will highlight curated regional tapas alongside artisanal Spanish wines, offering an immersive journey through the depth and expression of Spain's terroir. Refer to Annex B - Full List of Events and Promotions for more details.

4 to 12 September | Set Dinner from $78

Partnered with Ecolah and Ewineasia

Gravitate to Noa Lounge by Olivia for an exclusive set dinner menu that celebrates Spain's culinary traditions, from the bright flavours of Andalusia to the seafood traditions of Galicia.

The evening opens with Salmorejo, a classic Andalusian cold soup of tomato, bread, garlic and olive oil, finished with egg and Jamón Ibérico, alongside blistered Padrón Peppers – Galicia's famously unpredictable little green peppers – finished with a sprinkle of flor de sal. The selection continues with classics Patatas Bravas and Jamón Croquettes, with toasted sourdough and Jamón Ibérico also available as an add-on.

Small plates feature Octopus Carpaccio à la Gallega, a contemporary take on Galicia's Pulpo a Feira, with tender octopus dressed in garlic and paprika oil, paired with confit potato, apple, and avocado purée. The evening closes with Olivia's Signature Cheesecake, a creamy blend of cream and blue cheese on an almond sablé crust, inspired by a cherished family recipe.

Complementing the experience is an optional wine pairing in collaboration with Ewineasia. Savour these bold flavours with Cérvoles Celler Colors Red 2022 ($15 per glass), a rich, intense Spanish red blend from the Costers del Segre region, featuring dark cherry colors, aromas of black fruit and sweet spices, and well-integrated tannins.

About Eat Spain Drink Spain
"Eat Spain Drink Spain" (ESDS) is proudly organised by the Spain Trade and Investment (ICEX) via the Economic and Commercial Office of the Embassy of Spain in Singapore, and Alimentos de España as part of the #SpainFoodNation campaign. It's an invitation to rediscover this land of taste across a myriad of venues, from restaurants and grocers to beloved brands that include local importers, distributors, restaurants and retailers; all coming together to showcase the best of Spain – from gourmet foods to exceptional wines. This flavourful fiesta of Spanish gastronomy, now in its fourth edition, is the largest such event in Singapore, with more than 30 mouthwatering events and promotions islandwide this year. The ESDS 2026 campaign also celebrates the conferment of the coveted "Restaurants from Spain" (RFS) certification of 15 restaurants here, as well as the "Colmados from Spain" (CFS) certification awarded to 2 Singapore grocers.

About Restaurants from Spain (RFS)

The "Restaurants from Spain" certificate is an instrument for the support and recognition of restaurant initiatives that are focused on Spanish cuisine and, by extension, the Spanish culture, guaranteeing the level of quality of these establishments. It recognizes and establishes quality standards and criteria for the consumer who is looking for quality Spanish cuisine, as well as models that can be followed by restaurateurs who may wish to offer Spanish cuisine in other parts of the world. All the restaurants that have the "Restaurants from Spain" certificate will share a feeling of Spanish gastronomy based on genuine roots, ingredients, recipes, and quality.

Awarded following a stringent selection process by a joint committee composed of official institutions and sectoral associations, chaired by ICEX Spain Trade and Investment, strongly linked to gastronomy such as the Royal Academy of Gastronomy, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Regulatory Council for Jérez-Xérès-Sherry Wines D.O.P., INTERPORC, ASTUREX, the Spanish Wine Federation, Spanish Olive Oils Interprofessional and the REPSOL Guide, the certificate will distinguish those establishments that outside Spain offer their diners not only Spanish products but also authentic quality Spanish cuisine, with a unique and differentiated image.

The certification, which will be renewed biannually, will have a direct and immediate impact on the HORECA channel, whose activity has been severely affected by the pandemic, by promoting greater knowledge of the restaurant in the country, boosting its occupation, and the dissemination of authentic quality Spanish cuisine.

Besides the certification, the restaurant's team will receive specialized training in both gastronomy and Spanish wines, thus being able to expand the Spanish culinary offer available on the menu. In parallel, the certificate will facilitate access to the restaurant, and therefore to the market, to a greater number of suppliers of Spanish products, which will boost the presence of Spanish food and wine around the world.

About Colmados from Spain (CFS)

Colmados from Spain Certification Program recognizes and supports food and wine stores around the globe focused on authentic products from Spain that guarantee the quality standards and origin of these products. The idea behind this initiative is to provide the consumer with high standards and criteria to find the real experience when looking for authentic Spanish products. These food and wine stores are excellent examples to other businesses that wish to offer Spanish gastronomy tradition around the world.
