Fatal traffic accident in North Point
Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident happened in North Point today (September 5) in which a man died.

Police received a report at 10.37 am that a private car driven by a 54-year-old man was travelling along Island Eastern Corridor westbound. When approaching the North Point Ferry Concourse Promenade, it suspectedly lost control and collided with a private car driven by a 44-year-old man and another private car.

Sustaining no superficial injury, the 54-year-old private car driver was rushed to Ruttonjee Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 12.08 pm on the same day.

Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Hong Kong Island is underway.

The Frankfurt Book Fair is the largest international publishing and content trade fair in the world. Once a year, it brings together publishers, authors, and industry experts to develop new business opportunities, as well as exhibit the creativity and achievements of different countries and regions.
The Head of Public Relations of HKETO Berlin, Ms Stephanie Pall, attended the opening ceremony of the Hong Kong Pavilion at the Frankfurt Book Fair on October 7. She thanked CCIDA for supporting the participation of the Hong Kong Printers Association and Hong Kong Publishing Federation at the Book Fair to showcase the top quality of Hong Kong's publishing and printing industries.

Powered by an open flow of ideas, strong market agility, and a global perspective, local publishing and printing professionals offer compelling original content and world-class production capabilities for international partners," Ms Pall said.
