Journalists attending the Asia-Pacific Media Forum (APMF) took part in a special night tour of Shenzhen, south China's Guangdong Province, on Friday, exploring the city's blend of tradition and modernity.
As part of the forum's "Urban Texture" night tour, international guests visited the Guan Shanyue Art Museum, where they explored printmaking inspired by China’s agricultural civilization.
Later, participants boarded Shenzhen's iconic "Red Fatty" sightseeing bus for a night journey, taking in the city's famed landmarks against a backdrop of urban lights.
"I think the Civic Center looks pretty interesting actually. I'm interested in architectural design and buildings that look like a bit of a landmark," said Andrew Drummond, editor-in-chief of the Australian Associated Press.
The Asia-Pacific Media Forum, which began in Shenzhen on Saturday, drew more than 400 representatives from 42 countries and regions, as well as from international organizations and UN agencies.
