Chinese President Xi Jinping will attend a welcome ceremony for leaders of BRICS countries in New Delhi, India, on Saturday afternoon.

Xi arrived in New Delhi earlier on Saturday to attend the 18th BRICS Summit at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi of the Republic of India.

This year's summit will be held from Saturday to Sunday.
