Cutting-edge technologies developed by China Media Group (CMG) are drawing strong attention at the ongoing fifth Global Digital Trade Expo in Hangzhou, capital of east China's Zhejiang Province.
The expo, dedicated to promoting digital trade and industrial cooperation, runs from Sept 23 to 27.
This year, CMG's 360-square-meter themed booth -- showcasing advanced digital audiovisual technologies and a wide range of content -- becomes a major draw at the expo.
At the booth, an extended-reality interactive experience project, "Explore China's Space Station" created by CMG's technical bureau, has attracted many visitors eager to experience.
Using virtual reality technology, the project recreates the real on-orbit experience of astronauts aboard China's space station to life, offering visitors a truly immersive glimpse into life in space.
"It's truly stunning -- it feels just like you are actually living in that environment, a truly immersive experience," said Zhang Shuohan, a visitor.
CMG is also showcasing a range of achievements enabled by its proprietary core technologies, including AI, ultra-high definition (UHD) technologies, and omni-media mobile broadcasting. In particular, the Central Audiovisual Media 3.0, the lite omni-media UHD Intelligent Service Platform, and various innovative AI applications have attracted strong interest from many overseas visitors.
"I think it's amazing. There are a lot of different things I've never seen in my life in Spain. I think I am in a new world. I feel the two [human and AI] can work together, and do better production, do (it) easier," said a Spanish visitor.
"We have received a huge number of potential customers -- professionals from various countries have visited our booth to learn in detail about our AI, omni-media and UHD products. And they are interested in further exchanges and cooperation with us," said Li Huan, an engineer at the CMG technical bureau.
