Coordinated "Generator-to-Chip" approach integrates onsite generation, electrical infrastructure and engineering to help data center customers streamline development and save time compared to traditional delivery models.
HOUSTON, Oct. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Technology group Wärtsilä, Schneider Electric and Stanley Consultants have developed an innovative "Generator-to-Chip" approach to help U.S. data center developers and operators bring scalable power capacity online faster. Designed around the AI load, the approach aligns onsite power generation, electrical infrastructure, automation, engineering and project execution from the outset. By connecting the power pathway from generation and electrical distribution to digital monitoring and the IT load, the approach reduces handoffs, improves coordination across critical interfaces and provides greater execution certainty. The combined approach can accelerate project schedules compared to traditional, sequential delivery models.
Driven by accelerating investment in AI, demand for new data center capacity is growing rapidly across the United States. At the same time, lengthy grid interconnection timelines and delays in critical power infrastructure are slowing projects and increasing the need for coordinated solutions that can deliver dependable power where and when it is needed.
Wärtsilä provides flexible, modular engine power plants that can deliver reliable onsite power generation, start rapidly and scale as data center demand grows. Schneider Electric contributes the integrated electrical architecture, automation and digital power management that coordinate power from generation to the AI load. Stanley Consultants provides technical and advisory services across the data center lifecycle, including engineering, permitting, design coordination, construction management, commissioning oversight and climate resilience expertise.
"For many data center projects, power has become the schedule. Developers need reliable solutions that can be planned, built and delivered at the pace that AI growth demands. This innovative, integrated approach marks a significant step forward: by bringing our complementary capabilities together from the outset, we can simplify execution, reduce handoffs and shorten timelines. Most importantly, it gives customers a faster, clearer path from project planning to operational capacity," says Risto Paldanius, Vice President, Americas, Wärtsilä Energy.
"AI growth is increasing the scale and speed required of data center power infrastructure," says Melton Chang, Executive Vice President, Power Systems at Schneider Electric. "An AI Energy Park starts with the load and coordinates generation, electrical infrastructure, automation and digital technologies as one system. This gives developers a scalable, grid-flexible path to bring high-density AI capacity online faster."
"We are delighted to be part of a team that is focused on meeting our client's business outcomes and community needs," says Lance Sulzen, Vice President and Energy Market Leader at Stanley Consultants. "Integrated solutions help deliver functional, resilient, and scalable facilities effectively and efficiently. Taking a collaborative delivery approach helps us better identify risks, streamline interfaces and improve delivery confidence from concept to commissioning."
Wärtsilä, Schneider Electric and Stanley Consultants collectively bring expertise in power generation, electrical distribution, digital control and project execution that is relevant to modern data center development. Together, these capabilities demonstrate how data center operators can address requirements for speed, reliability, scalability and operational flexibility across grid-connected, islanded and hybrid configurations.

Wärtsilä, Schneider Electric and Stanley Consultants launch coordinated approach for faster U.S. data center power delivery
LOS ANGELES, Oct. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Momcozy, a leading global brand supporting women and families through pregnancy and motherhood, has partnered with Postpartum Support International (PSI) to establish a $100,000 scholarship fund designed to expand access to professional perinatal mental health training for frontline healthcare providers.
Through the Momcozy × PSI Scholarship Fund, 50 U.S.-based healthcare professionals will receive full scholarships covering 100% of the coursework and examination fees associated with the Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C). A portion of the scholarships will be dedicated to eligible midwives and nurses within the American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM) network, with a focus on clinicians serving communities where access to maternal mental health resources is limited.
The initiative reflects a shared commitment from Momcozy and PSI to strengthen the network of trained professionals equipped to identify, support, and respond to perinatal mental health needs in communities across the United States.
"At Momcozy, we believe that every parent, no matter where they live, deserves access to compassionate, professional mental health support," said Athena, Founder and CEO of Momcozy. "This partnership with PSI is a meaningful step toward building a healthier future for families by investing in the clinicians who are there to support them. By helping remove the financial barriers to specialized training, we hope to empower more professionals to bring critical perinatal mental health resources directly into their communities."
"Experiencing a perinatal mental health disorder is stressful, and many people experience fear, shame, or embarrassment. It can be difficult to find a place where you know providers will understand," said Wendy Davis, PhD, PMH-C, President and CEO of Postpartum Support International. "We are thrilled that Momcozy is making the PMH-C certification more accessible to providers via scholarship. The PMH-C makes it easier for affected parents to choose a provider they know will help them get better, and Momcozy is helping us grow the number of trained providers ready to help."
The scholarship program is open to US based licensed healthcare providers who are currently practicing in or serving underrepresented communities or areas identified as maternal mental health resource deserts.
Applications open on October 1 and close on October 31. Applicants will be evaluated based on their professional background, experience serving high-need communities, and their completed application form. The selection process will be conducted according to the program's published eligibility and selection criteria, and selected scholarship recipients will be announced on November 6.
Healthcare professionals interested in applying can learn more about the Momcozy × PSI Scholarship Fund and submit an application at momcozy-care-program. The scholarship is part of Momcozy's broader commitment to expanding access to practical, professional support for mothers across the pregnancy and postpartum journey.
