A video shared by a Tseung Kwan O resident has gone viral after it showed a group of primary school pupils, accompanied by teachers and staff, leading a giant triceratops across the road in a procession that was both striking and hilarious.

Netizens later found that a nearby primary school had held an "Outsmarting Dinosaur Island" event, turning its campus into a Jurassic world in which pupils became “dinosaur detectives” and completed missions.

Photos shared by netizens showed the pupils, escorted by teachers and staff, marching across the road with the giant triceratops. At the front of the group, one pupil held up a placard reading "Outsmarting Dinosaur Island" and "Chi Lin Buddhist Primary School," like a prehistoric expedition setting off.

The post sparked heated discussion. Many netizens could hardly believe the scene, exclaiming: "Real or AI?" "At first glance, I thought it was AI again," and "Is it real? So AI." According to school information, Chi Lin Buddhist Primary School at 1 Tong Chun Street, Tseung Kwan O, did hold the event that day and uploaded many photos to its Facebook page, turning the whole campus into a prehistoric Jurassic world full of surprises and exploration.

The school entrance featured a "giant T-rex mouth," allowing visitors to step from reality into the Jurassic world. Inside, there was also a giant inflatable brachiosaurus for pupils and parents to take photos with, while pupils enjoyed various dinosaur-related games. The Facebook page described how "children transformed into dinosaur detectives, searching for clues, completing missions and solving mysteries, having fun while learning plenty," adding that "laughter filled the scene, with exploration and discovery everywhere."
