Each model weighs less than 10 pounds and converts into a handheld vacuum for furniture, stairs and car interiors. Slim, low-profile nozzles reach beneath furniture, and the removable hand vacuums clip to the base of the wand for compact, freestanding storage.

Shark® Rocket® Turbo Corded Stick Vacuum

The Shark® Rocket® Turbo tackles dirt, debris, and pet hair with a self-cleaning Turbo brushroll. Anti-Hair Wrap Technology actively removes hair from the brushroll as it cleans, delivering pet-hair pickup without the need to cut away wrapped hair.

At under ten pounds, the vacuum is easy to carry and maneuver and includes a Crevice Tool and Pet Multi-Tool for tight spaces, furniture and upholstery.

Shark Detect™ + Reveal Corded Stick Vacuum

The Shark Detect™ + Reveal uses Direction Detect to automatically recognize forward and reverse movement and optimize suction in both directions. Reveal Technology uses a precision-angled blue LED beam to illuminate dust and debris often invisible to the human eye for a more thorough clean.

Its self-cleaning brushroll helps prevent hair wrap, and the removable hand vacuum weighs less than three pounds. The model includes a Pet Crevice Tool and Pet Multi-Tool.

Availability

The Shark® Rocket® Turbo Corded Stick Vacuum is available in Navy for $199.99, and the Shark Detect™ + Reveal Corded Stick Vacuum is available in Storm for $249.99.

MIAMI (AP) — Tropical Storm Isaias formed early Wednesday in the warm waters off eastern Mexico and forecasters said it was expected to strengthen into the first hurricane of the Atlantic season before hitting the U.S. Gulf Coast later in the week.

Isaias was centered about 285 miles (460 kilometers) west of Progreso, Mexico, and about 580 miles (935 kilometers) southwest of the Mississippi River’s mouth, according to the Miami-based National Hurricane Center. It had maximum sustained winds of 40 mph (65 kph) and was moving east-northeast at 8 mph (13 kph).

It was not immediately known where the storm may make landfall on the Gulf Coast. The hurricane center’s initial projections said the center of Isaias could come onshore late Friday or early Saturday somewhere between eastern Louisiana and the western Florida Panhandle. People in those areas were urged to prepare for the storm.

“There is an increasing risk of dangerous wind and storm surge impacts along portions of the northern Gulf Coast,” the hurricane center said. “Residents from Louisiana to the Florida Panhandle should closely monitor the latest forecast updates and ensure they have their hurricane plan in place.”

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis declared a state of emergency for 25 counties in the Panhandle and Big Bend regions. The declaration activates the state's emergency management plan to prepare for hurricanes and other potential natural disasters, allowing actions including the deployment of personnel and equipment to respond.

Isaias, pronounced ees-ah-EE-ahs according to the hurricane center, is expected to bring areas of heavy rain to portions of the Gulf Coast and much of the U.S. Southeast on Friday and into the weekend, forecasters said.

The storm comes as the Atlantic hurricane season has been unusually quiet this year due to a strong El Niño, which disrupts storm formation over that ocean. Storm activity in the Pacific has been above average.
