Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index rose 0.30 percent to close at 24,345.22 points on Tuesday.
The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index rose 0.08 percent to end at 8,174.72 points, and the Hang Seng Tech Index fell 0.79 percent to end at 4,136.63 points.

Chinese President Xi Jinping and Botswana's President Duma Gideon Boko will attend a signing ceremony of cooperation documents at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on Tuesday.
Boko is on a state visit to China from October 12 to 17 at Xi's invitation.
