China has full confidence in its economic outlook, foreign ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning said at a press conference in Beijing on Tuesday.
The spokeswoman made the remarks when responding to a media query after the International Monetary Fund (IMF) cut its forecast for China's economic growth in 2026.
"What I can tell you is that China has sound economic fundamentals. And we have full confidence in China's economic prospects," Mao said.
