Building on its lawn care heritage, the brand advances a vision of outdoor living with less routine maintenance and greater freedom.

LOUISVILLE, Ky., Oct. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Sunseeker Elite will bring its vision for more autonomous lawn care to Equip Expo 2026, October 20–23 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Kentucky. As Sunseeker expands from traditional outdoor equipment into intelligent robotics, its premium brand is translating that evolution into a growing family of wire-free mowers designed around the varied demands of residential landscapes.

For homeowners, the value of automation lies in how naturally it fits the yard: navigating around trees, adapting to uneven ground and maintaining different lawn areas with less everyday attention. With its X Gen 2 series, Sunseeker Elite brings these needs into a coordinated product range that connects intelligent perception with practical mowing performance.

Sunseeker's continued investment in AI and robotics is about giving people greater freedom in how they care for and enjoy their outdoor spaces. At Equip Expo, the Gen 2 portfolio brings that ambition into everyday lawn care, while the X5 Gen3 and X8 Plus offer a glimpse into the next stage of Sunseeker's product evolution. Sunseeker is developing machines that better understand their surroundings, adapt to the demands of real yards, and take on more of the routine work as the company progresses toward increasingly autonomous outdoor care.

Advancing How Robots Understand the Outdoors

Designed for large residential lawns, the X8 Plus combines nRTK positioning, solid state LiDAR and stereo vision for navigation in complex environments. LiDAR and vision support obstacle recognition and avoidance, while an infrared camera supports animal-friendly operation. Its EdgeZero™ 2.0 trimming tool is designed to deliver a zero-inch edge gap, extending automated lawn care to the lawn's borders.

Intelligent Mowing Built Around Real Yards

The X5 Gen 2, X7 Gen 2 and X7 Plus Gen 2 combine AONavi™ positioning and navigation with Vision AI 2.0 perception. Visual mapping helps maintain spatial awareness where satellite reception is challenged, while binocular cameras and infrared time-of-flight sensing support obstacle detection in daylight and after dark.

Together, these capabilities help the mowers respond to the changing conditions of an outdoor environment.

That intelligence extends to the way the lawn is maintained. Virtual boundaries and app-based zone management let owners organize mowing around their property's layout. The X7 Gen 2 and X7 Plus Gen 2 pair all-wheel drive with floating dual cutting discs to navigate uneven ground and maintain a broad cutting path, bringing mobility and cutting performance together for larger lawns.

Across the three models, the range offers a progression in mowing capacity that helps homeowners and dealers match a solution to the property. The X4, X9 and X9 Plus will also be exhibited, extending the portfolio across different residential lawn care requirements.

Experiencing Intelligent Lawn Care

An immersive technology area will bring robotic perception into view through live camera imagery, allowing visitors to see a lawn from the machine's perspective. By connecting that view with explanations of navigation and path planning, the exhibit will make the relationship between environmental sensing and robot behavior tangible.

Outside, X7 Gen 2 and X4 slope demonstrations will let visitors observe how the machines travel across inclines and changing terrain, connecting the indoor technology presentation with performance on the ground.

Connecting Innovation with Outdoor Living

Sunseeker Elite's redesigned, open-sided booth will connect the product displays with a timeline tracing the brand's development from garden tools to intelligent robotics. Its Philadelphia Phillies partnership will add a local dimension through a baseball-themed robotic demonstration area and an outdoor pitching activity with prizes, bringing the enjoyment of outdoor spaces into the exhibition experience.

Dealers, industry professionals and media are invited to visit Indoor Booth #1190 and Outdoor Demo Area #7460D to explore the range and meet the Sunseeker Elite team.
