Devesh Rastogi, President of the All India Small IT & Electronic Manufacturers Association, noted that India's "Make in India" initiative is committed to establishing India as a global hub for manufacturing, design and innovation, creating strong demand for innovative electronic products and production technologies. His visit to Hong Kong primarily aimed to seek partners and introduce innovative products for production collaboration in India before selling them to the local market. He said: "The Autumn Electronics Fair and electronicAsia feature many innovative products not found in the Indian market, such as those related to artificial intelligence and robotics technology, smart living and next-generation entertainment, which we hope to introduce to the local market." At the same time, as he is engaged in the printer manufacturing business, he was also looking for software products and printed circuit board (PCB) components at the concurrently held electronicAsia. He praised Hong Kong's superior geographical location as an ideal springboard for exploring the Mainland market and developing international business, and described the HKTDC's business matching services and clear exhibition planning as an excellent sourcing platform. He noted that India has a large population and rising consumer power, offering huge market potential and substantial demand for various types of electronic products and components.
