Key Insights from the Event

H.E. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister of Thailand, said "I am especially pleased to welcome CNN Global Perspectives, building on the success of CNN Countdown last year...CNN Global Perspectives gives us the chance to hear different views and discuss how economic decisions affect people's daily life. I hope today's program will bring different perspectives together and keep the discussions grounded in practical choices."

Christine Lagarde, President of the European Central Bank, said, "What we have at the moment is this recurring, infamous war of Russia against Ukraine, that is continuing and it's putting pressure on refinery capacities, as you know. But since March '26, we also have the war in the Middle East, which is also putting a huge strain on the supply and movement of oil and gas."

Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Director-general of the World Trade Organization, told CNN's Richard Quest, "Trade is facing the biggest disruptions it's ever faced in the 80 years history of … the World Trade Organization... But at the same time, Richard, what has really surprised us is the resilience of trade."

Grab CEO Anthony Tan, said "AI itself is not going to take your job ... but who will take your job is somebody who knows and uses AI, they're going to take your job... If you aren't going to re-invest and self-invest and learn and embrace AI, I'm sorry, the person on your right, on your left who is embracing AI will take your job."

Maggie Kang, Academy Award-winning Creator and Co-director of "KPop Demon Hunters", said "We had already, you know, as a culture, kind of cemented our place in movies and TV with 'Squid Game' and in music with Kpop, and I saw all of that, and you know growing up where my culture wasn't so cool, I was like, 'Oh my gosh, we're cool now'. Maybe it's time that we could do something cool in the animation space because Koreans have produced a lot of animation for a lot of other people, but we never really had like something that we could call our own."

BRIERLEY HILL, England, Oct. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- WorkWave®, a leading provider of software and solutions that help mobile service companies thrive, today announced the launch of Wavelytics® Decision Intelligence in the UK, Australia, and New Zealand. Decision Intelligence is a new AI-powered hub that transforms how service businesses operate. By embedding near real-time actionable insights directly into WorkWave's TimeGate+® workforce management software, Decision Intelligence provides the metrics and insights designed to help drive businesses towards improved margins and profitability.

Decision Intelligence is more than just a visualization tool; it is the context-aware intelligent engine, purpose-built for the nuances of workforce management industries. Wavelytics Data Factory ingests the raw data from operations, finance, payroll, and compliance, producing clean and actionable information in a packaged data warehouse; Decision Intelligence then analyzes these data to surface immediate insights with the metrics to back them up.

"Decision Intelligence turns the data Timegate+ already captures into a ranked list of what to prioritize while it's still early enough to act," said Kevin Kemmerer, CEO of WorkWave. "It moves our customers from reacting to historical data to proactively taking steps that drive financial goals. By tailoring each hub within Decision Intelligence to specific personas, we empower critical roles within our customers' organizations with the actionable insights to propel the future of their business."

The first of these hubs – the Operations Hub – is now live and ready to use. The Operations Hub is built for Operational Executives, Regional Managers, and Site/Contract Managers/Site Supervisors. It helps surface issues that may be diluting margin or breaching compliance, with the highest impact listed first, allowing users to uncover the 'who, where, and why' details in two clicks. More hubs are coming soon, including Quality & Compliance, Proof of Service, HR, and Payroll.

"As our content hubs roll out, we're looking forward to our customers experiencing the full benefits of Decision Intelligence and using this AI-driven solution to take command of their data," added Kemmerer. "By becoming data-driven organizations, our customers can proactively optimize their margins, quality, and retention – this is the level of transformative value Decision Intelligence offers."
