LISA and heytea Launch Global Collaboration Featuring Mango Coconut Sticky Rice Drink

2026-10-15 12:19 Last Updated At:14:55

The October 15 launch pairs heytea's inventive approach to tea with LISA's global influence, bringing a taste of her native Thailand to audiences around the world.

BANGKOK and HONG KONG, Oct. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Global pop icon LISA and heytea, the originator of New-Style tea, officially launch their global collaboration today, bringing the brand's Mango Coconut Sticky Rice drink to participating stores across mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR, and international markets. The partnership extends beyond the cup with original illustrations of LISA created by heytea, limited-edition packaging, and exclusive merchandise.

The collaboration grew out of LISA's genuine, ongoing enthusiasm for heytea, reflected in her visits and social media posts in Los Angeles, London, and Bangkok. Following heytea's Thailand debut with heytea lab in Bangkok, the partnership brings one of the brand's signature limited-time drinks to more countries and cities. Inspired by mango sticky rice, it connects a familiar flavor from LISA's home country with heytea's fresh, youthful expression of tea culture.

From Personal Favorite to Global Partnership

LISA's connection with heytea began well before the official collaboration. In 2025, she shared heytea matcha drinks on Instagram, with the content receiving more than 6.7 million likes and bringing the brand to a wider international audience. During the London stop of BLACKPINK's world tour that year, she also posted a photo holding Cloud Coconut Blue, a drink exclusive to heytea's international markets. The photo sparked a fresh wave of online buzz around her heytea order.

In September, LISA visited heytea lab at Bangkok's CentralWorld ahead of its official opening, sampling several offerings, including Mango Coconut Sticky Rice. Her visit reignited social media conversation, building on the excitement surrounding her earlier posts. These moments, rooted in her own experiences as a customer, helped build anticipation for the partnership.

The CentralWorld location opened in September as heytea's first store in Thailand and Southeast Asia's first heytea lab. Its locally inspired offerings—including teaAir • Rock Oolong Jackfruit, Thai milk tea croissant egg tarts, and lime Thai milk tea gelato—draw on Thailand's tropical fruits, classic flavors, and urban culture. With the global launch of Mango Coconut Sticky Rice, LISA is now sharing heytea's take on a beloved Thai dessert with consumers around the world.

Classic Thai Ingredients, Reimagined — With Exclusive LISA Merchandise

First introduced in China in 2021, Mango Coconut Sticky Rice has returned several times as a limited-time Dragon Boat Festival offering. With customers continuing to call for its return, it has become one of heytea's signature seasonal favorites.

The drink reimagines the classic dessert as a smooth, refreshing mango-coconut slush with pieces of mango, layered over coconut sticky rice. The combination captures the dessert's familiar flavors while offering something to savor in every sip and bite—from the freshness of the mango to the satisfying chew of the rice.

The drink uses long-grain sticky rice imported from Thailand. Store teams prepare the coconut sticky rice by hand each day, cooking the rice and then hand-sorting the grains before gradually folding in coconut milk. The process creates a soft, chewy texture while keeping the individual grains distinct.

Beyond the drink, heytea created a series of original illustrations of LISA in its signature hand-drawn style. The designs preserve the relaxed, playful, charmingly imperfect quality of the brand's visual identity. LISA herself loved the illustrations, which appear across the collaboration's packaging and merchandise.

At participating stores, customers can purchase collaboration bundles that include a drink, a sticker, paired with a choice of either a pin or a keychain (merchandise available starting October 16).

These everyday accessories bring heytea's illustrations of LISA into customers' daily lives, giving fans ways to enjoy the collaboration long after their last sip. Together, the drink, original artwork, and accessories take the collaboration beyond a celebrity's image on a cup, creating a collection that consumers across different cities can enjoy, use, and share.

Beyond the Cup: Connecting Tea, Culture, and City Life

The LISA × heytea partnership marks the latest chapter in the brand's engagement with fashion, art, and pop culture. Past collaborations include alexanderwang, New York–based designer label Sandy Liang, artist Yayoi Kusama, POP MART, and Wicked. In New York, heytea has also participated in the Guggenheim Museum's YCC Party and built connections with cultural, community, and lifestyle partners, including the Central Park Conservancy and Levain Bakery.

These collaborations go beyond co-branding. Through product development, original artwork, limited-edition merchandise, themed stores, and local events, heytea creates experiences that consumers can taste, wear, use, and share. For young consumers, a cup of heytea becomes a connection to design, personal style, self-expression, and city life—and a way to participate in contemporary culture.

With more than 120 international stores in cities including New York, Los Angeles, London, Toronto, Sydney, Melbourne, and Bangkok, heytea continues to bring local flavors and creative inspiration to a growing global audience. As the originator of New-Style tea, the brand is advancing a vision that reaches beyond international expansion: establishing tea as a shared global language that connects a new generation across borders and cultures.
