Bybit Spot Now Supports Percentage of Volume (POV) Orders, Giving Traders Better Flexibility and Greater Control

2026-10-15 19:00 Last Updated At:21:25

DUBAI, UAE, Oct. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Bybit, the New Financial Platform trusted by more than 80 million users worldwide, announced the launch of Percentage of Volume (POV) orders on its Spot exchange, giving traders a more controlled way to execute large trades.

POV Order was first made available to Futures traders on Bybit in May 2026, and has since recorded 9x growth in user base with an average monthly trading volume per capita at over $300,000 in its initial 4 months.

POV automatically splits large buy or sell orders into smaller trades, adjusting their size in real time to market volume or order-book liquidity. This allows sizable positions to be built or exited gradually, with execution better paced to actual market activity, helping reduce slippage and limit the market impact that large orders can otherwise create. For traders and institutions managing significant volume on Spot, the result is more predictable execution, greater control over entry and exit prices, and reduced exposure to unfavorable fills.

Key Advantages of POV Orders

  • VWAP-style execution: Trades are paced based on actual market activity instead of relying solely on fixed intervals, helping achieve prices close to the benchmark.
  • Enhanced discretion: Order sizes adjust in line with market flow, making activity difficult for high-frequency traders to detect.
  • Multiple execution modes: Users can choose between aggressive Taker execution or fee-efficient Maker placement based on urgency.
  • Built-in slippage control: Execution slows down when liquidity is insufficient, helping avoid unfavorable fills.
  • Flexible stop conditions: A maximum duration and/or total quantity can be set to control when the strategy ends.

The mechanism supports advanced traders and trading desks dealing with potentially market-moving trades. POV orders are driven by a participation rate, which defines the percentage of market volume or available order book depth that an order will execute against. The system continuously monitors market conditions and adjusts the size of each sub-order accordingly. When trading activity is low, execution slows down. When activity increases, execution speeds up to maintain the target participation rate.

Three Modes for Spot Trading

  1. Traded Volume: Sizes sub-orders based on market trading volume.
  2. Opposite-Side Liquidity: Executes Taker limit orders based on opposing order-book depth.
  3. Same-Side Liquidity: Places Post-Only Maker orders at the best bid or ask.

The feature is now officially supported on Bybit Spot. To get started, traders can navigate to a supported Spot trading pair, select POV from the order-type menu, and configure the parameters.

Participation rate, order frequency, and stop conditions can be customized to match individual execution priorities. No additional strategy fees apply, and standard Spot trading fees remain applicable.

Terms and conditions apply. Users may read more about  POV Order before trading on Bybit Spot and POV Orders Now Live on Bybit Spot.

Realistic Character Design

Under this category, entrants create a realistic human character in Character Creator by combining the character base with tools like ZBrush, Substance Painter, Marvelous Designer, Blender, Wrap, Texturing.xyz, and Maya. Watch their winning entry and testimonials below.

1st Place: Jax: Soul of the Street – by Jimmy Watelle, Manager | Costa Rica

"Character Creator and the Blender Data Link helped me a lot in building the base of the Jax character, but I also faced numerous challenges related to my skill level and navigating between software, sometimes losing data or synchronization along the way. This project brought me as much enjoyment, and it helped me grow tremendously." – Jimmy Watelle

2nd Place: Shannaz – by Leudemar "Leo" Lima, Concept Artist | Brazil

"Character Creator helped me bring my design to 3D with a lot of fidelity and realism; easy to use and intuitive, CC5 is a really powerful tool for concept artists." – Leudemar "Leo" Lima

3rd Place: An Unearthly Find – by Jeet Shah, Technical Artist | India

"The speed of CC5 in making changes to primary forms for any character is impeccable and probably the best among any 3D software I've ever used. Need a skinny short girl- tweak a few sliders you get a skinny short girl. Need a fat stubby creature- tweak some more sliders and take it to ZBrush and you have a humanoid creature in under an hour all the while maintaining the subdivided geometry details in CC5 thanks to GoZ Plus. And all of them with a full-body skeleton that's ready to add some controls for posing. The new HD morphs in CC5 are certainly an upgrade to the previous version, where the lack of base mesh resolution made the morphs a bit less detailed; the new ones still come out quite detailed. One other feature I've heavily used is the new addition to Auto Setup for Maya. That allowed for a seamless experience in making the facial expressions on the characters directly in Maya, where I rendered them."– Jeet Shah

Stylized Character Design

Under this category, entrants create a stylized character in Character Creator by combining the character base with tools like ZBrush, Substance Painter, Marvelous Designer, Blender, Wrap, Texturing.xyz, and Maya. Watch their winning entry and testimonials below.

1st Place: Kohaku - Warden of Memories – by Oscar Fernandez Gonzalez, 3D Character Artist | Spain

"As a sculptor, Character Creator lets me start from a clean, optimized base mesh that I can freely customize in ZBrush. Moving back and forth between ZBrush and CC5 allows me to use each application for what it does best, making the entire workflow faster and more efficient. My favorite feature is being able to test poses on the character with incredible precision. It's fast, intuitive, and a genuinely enjoyable part of the creative process." – Oscar Fernandez Gonzalez

2nd Place: Erlen From Lemuria's Savage Lands – by Felix Enrique Yaguare Lopez, Student and Freelancer | Venezuela

"Character Creator allowed me to bring my character to life effortlessly. Being able to quickly test and iterate different poses gave me the freedom to explore Erlen in multiple situations, something that would have been impossible in my timeframe, as I joined the contest a month and a half late while finishing my class projects for Libel Academy." – Felix Enrique Yaguare Lopez

3rd Place: Alyssa – by Thivolan Moodley, 3D Sculptor & Freelancer | South Africa
