  • Co-hosted with the Korea Fisheries Association, Cuisine.K's hands-on program introduced Vietnamese consumers and aspiring culinary talent to the diverse ingredients, techniques and flavors of Korean seafood.
  • HANOI, Vietnam, Oct. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- CJ Foods' Korean cuisine talent discovery and development platform, Cuisine.K, successfully hosted a K-seafood cooking class in Vietnam. The program was designed to introduce Vietnamese consumers and future culinary talent to the diverse ingredients, cooking methods, and flavors of Korean seafood.

Co-hosted by CJ Foods and the Korea Fisheries Association, the program was designed to expand awareness and hands-on appreciation of Korean seafood ingredients and dishes among global audiences.

The program was held on October 22 at Thang Long University in Hanoi for students, followed by cooking classes for local consumers and creators on October 24 and 25 as part of the Dol Dam Gil (돌담길) event at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Vietnam.

At the Thang Long University session, Chef Chan-yang Lee, a Cuisine.K alumnus and a contestant on Netflix's Culinary Class Wars, participated as the lead chef. He demonstrated two dishes: fried gim rolls and grilled abalone with gim sauce, showcasing the versatility of Korean gim (seaweed) and abalone. Through the demonstration, students gained a deeper understanding of Korean seafood ingredients and explored how they can be creatively incorporated into contemporary cuisine.

Cooking class participant Pham Quynh Anh said, "Gim is a familiar ingredient that I enjoy regularly, but I was glad to learn new ways to use it, including how to make sauces with it. I was especially excited to try abalone for the first time and learn everything from how to prepare it to how to cook it. It was a truly interesting and special experience."

After the October 22 cooking class, a K-seafood cooking competition was also held with student participants. Chef Lee and Chef Jun Hyuk Chi, who runs Korean fine dining restaurant Onvit in Hanoi, served as judges. The students presented original dishes using K-seafood, and jeonbogjug (abalone porridge), created by Team Yori Jori (Trần Thanh Huyền, ào Thị Minh Ánh, and Đỗ Kim Ngân), took first place.

During the Dol Dam Gil event held on October 24 and 25 at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Vietnam, Chef Lee and Cuisine.K alumni chefs led hands-on cooking classes for local consumers and creators. Participants prepared abalone gim noodle spring rolls, a dish combining Korean seafood ingredients with familiar Vietnamese culinary traditions. The experience highlighted how Korean seafood can be adapted to local food cultures and incorporated into everyday cooking.

"It was a meaningful opportunity to showcase the diverse appeal of Korean seafood to Vietnamese consumers and aspiring culinary talent in collaboration with the Korea Fisheries Association," said Sang-myeong Kim, Project Manager of the Hansik 245 Team at CJ Foods. "Through Cuisine.K, we will continue to discover and nurture Korean culinary talent while expanding opportunities for consumers around the world to experience and enjoy K-food culture as part of their everyday lives."

Cuisine.K is CJ Foods' platform for discovering, developing and connecting Korean culinary talent with audiences around the world. Moving beyond simply raising awareness of K-food, the initiative focuses on helping global consumers experience Korean cuisine in practical and repeatable ways through chef-led cooking classes, pop-ups, competitions and other interactive programmes. By supporting chefs at different stages of their careers and enabling them to communicate the flavours, techniques and cultural context of Korean cuisine, Cuisine.K aims to help K-food evolve from a cultural trend into an everyday choice for consumers worldwide.

MELBOURNE, Australia, Oct. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Fox ESS (Fox) showcases Power Beast, G-Max Plus, Power Cube, AirGate and FoxCloud 2.0 at Booth N123, All Energy Australia on 28–29 October. Fox brand ambassador, Australian swimming legend Ian Thorpe joined mascot Maimai in welcoming guests.

From Residential Leadership to Rebate-Ready C&I Solutions

In August, Fox joined the Australian Prime Minister to mark 500,000 installations under the CHBP. Since May 2025, Fox has installed 4.38 GWh across Australia, enough storage for ~220,000 households' daily electricity needs.* "HIGHER, FASTER and SMARTER underpin our success in the residential market and our expanding portfolio in C&I," said Brooks Richard Geng, Managing Director, APAC & ME.

Power Beast and G-Max Plus address expanded SRES and NSW PDRS opportunities. Power Beast combines H3 Plus hybrid inverters and CQ7 HV batteries. It scales to 7.308 MWh on-grid or 2.923 MWh off-grid. Its pre-cabled dual-tower base reduces installation time by ~ 90%, with 1.3-metre per stack and 50 kg per module. The H3 Plus received EESS certification from DEKRA and CCS for Australian electrical safety and grid-connection compliance.

The Liquid-Cooling Cabinet All-In-One G-MAX Plus solution integrates PV, battery storage, EV charging and generator support, with on/off-grid switching in under 10 ms. It offers 50–125 kW output and 199, 221 or 241 kWh capacity options.

Power Cube integrates an inverter and EQ5500 batteries in a stackable residential solution offering 10.92–49.14 kWh with single-phase 5–12 kW and three-phase 5–15 kW. It received TÜV TS 5398 certification at the event.

Five-In-One AirGate integrates MCB, changeover, metering, bypass and CT functions, providing 63A whole-home backup, reducing wiring by at least 50% and installation costs by up to A$3,000.**

From Higher Round-Trip Efficiency (RTE) to Smarter AI Energy Management

Fox reports 91.14% RTE, compared with 86.14% for LV systems and 81.14% for DC/DC HV systems. Assuming 20 kWh charged daily, 91.14% vs 86.14% RTE yields ~365 kWh more annually, ~6 extra full charges of a 60-kWh EV battery.

FoxCloud 2.0 combines real-time updates and flexible battery control. In Australian beta version, Maimai AI Agent turns requests into recommendations and system action. Some VPP participants even recorded daily earnings of up to A$150.

Fox will continue engaging with partners through SEC roadshows in November.

*Assumes 20 kWh/household/day
**Based on 15 m, 16 mm² cable run, 3ph property
