DEKRA Awards SAJ World's First CEC Listing under SA TS 5398:2025, Alongside EESS Certification at All Energy Australia

2026-10-29 17:58 Last Updated At:19:35

MELBOURNE, Australia, Oct. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- During All Energy Australia, DEKRA, a global leader in testing, inspection and certification, together with CCS (Conformity Certification Services), presented Guangzhou Sanjing Electric Co., Ltd. (SAJ) with an Australian EESS Certificate. The two companies also signed a strategic cooperation agreement, marking a new chapter in their partnership.

A major milestone was also achieved during the collaboration: SAJ secured the world's first Clean Energy Council (CEC) listing under the new SA TS 5398:2025 standard, becoming the first company to achieve CEC listing in accordance with Australia's new safety requirements for energy storage equipment.

Advancing Compliance with Australia's New Energy Storage Requirements

The certification covers SAJ's independently developed EK90 HS5 and EK70 HS5 integrated solar inverter, battery storage, whole-house backup, and elekeeper smart energy management system, following comprehensive testing and certification by DEKRA and meeting Australia's stringent local access requirements.

SA TS 5398:2025 is Australia's new mandatory safety specification for energy storage equipment and is set to formally replace the existing Battery Performance Guide (BPG) in 2027. Following the transition, the CEC will no longer accept applications under the previous requirements.

By securing the world's first CEC listing under SA TS 5398:2025, SAJ has taken an early step in aligning its integrated solar, storage and charging solutions with Australia's upcoming regulatory requirements. Together with the EESS certification, the achievement further strengthens the compliance foundation for SAJ's expansion in the Australian market.

From Product Certification to Long-Term Strategic Cooperation

Jacky Bai, Vice President of Renewable Sales & Business Development at DEKRA China, said:

"The EESS certification demonstrates the strong technical capabilities of SAJ's integrated solar inverter, battery storage, whole-house backup, and elekeeper smart energy management system. Through this collaboration, we have also worked with SAJ to achieve the world's first CEC listing under SA TS 5398:2025, positioning its products early for Australia's evolving energy storage requirements.

The strategic cooperation agreement takes our relationship beyond individual product certification and into a long-term partnership. We will continue to provide SAJ with global compliance solutions, supporting high-quality Chinese energy storage products as they expand into international markets."

Samil Ouyang, Chairman and CEO of SAJ, said:

"Australia has one of the world's leading rooftop photovoltaic markets, and energy storage is set to become another important driver of the country's renewable energy development, enabling households to generate, store and intelligently manage their own energy.

Our EK70 HS5 and EK90 HS5 All-in-One Solutions have been designed specifically for the needs of the Australian market, combining simplified installation, high safety standards and continuous intelligent upgrades. Supported by our elekeeper smart energy management platform, we are continuously optimizing the user energy experience.

Successfully meeting the requirements of Australia's new SA TS 5398 standard is much more than a matter of compliance for us. It is a strong validation of SAJ's R&D capabilities and product philosophy. We are delighted to receive certification from DEKRA at All Energy Australia and, at the same time, begin a new chapter in our strategic partnership.

As we continue to expand in Australia and across the Asia-Pacific region, SAJ and DEKRA will deepen their collaboration in product safety, quality management and global compliance. Strong ecosystem partnerships are fundamental to creating shared value across the industry. Together with our channel partners, installers and end users, we will continue to strengthen our presence in the Australian market with high-standard energy storage products and global compliance services, contributing to the region's green energy transition."

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Sonilo, the generative audio company building video-native music and sound models, announced on October 27 a partnership with Musical AI, a leading AI music attribution and rights management technology, to address one of the music industry's biggest challenges of ensuring that artists, songwriters, and rights holders are attributed as AI-generated music becomes increasingly mainstream.

The partnership comes as the music industry grapples with how copyrighted works are used to train AI models and how creators should be compensated when their music contributes to AI-generated outputs. While licensing agreements establish permission to use music, identifying how individual recordings and compositions influence what AI generates remains a significant challenge. Together, Sonilo and Musical AI aim to demonstrate a model for generative music where licensing, attribution, and compensation are built into the process from the start.

Sonilo generates music and sound effects directly from video footage, text, or both, using models built around licensed source material. Through the partnership, Musical AI's technology will analyze Sonilo's generated outputs and measure how licensed recordings and compositions contributed to each one. That reporting will give Sonilo's licensing partners the data needed to account for usage and support compensation for the songwriters, artists, and rights holders behind the original music. As generative technology makes it possible to create entirely new compositions influenced by existing works, the ability to identify and measure those contributions will become increasingly important to building sustainable relationships between AI companies and the music industry.

"The future of AI music can't be built at the expense of the people who created the music that makes it possible," said Keli Li, COO and Co-Founder of Sonilo. "The industry needs a better way to connect AI-generated music back to the artists and rights holders whose work contributed to it. We're building Sonilo around licensed music from the start, and our partnership with Musical AI is an important step toward building an AI music ecosystem that empowers creators while ensuring rights holders share in the value."

"AI music has enormous potential, but that potential depends on building a system that respects the creators behind it," said Sean Power, CEO of Musical AI. "Sonilo recognizes that licensing is only part of the equation. Rights holders also need visibility into how their work contributes to generated music. Together, we're helping demonstrate how attribution can support a more transparent and sustainable model for the industry."

The partnership comes as Sonilo finalizes master recording and publishing agreements with major rights organizations and prepares to launch its new music model update. Sonilo aims to demonstrate how the next generation of AI music platforms can create new opportunities for creators while protecting the value of the original works that make AI-generated music possible.
