Russia said Sunday that its forces continued to strike Ukrainian logistics facilities and maritime vessels with drones, while Ukraine reported that it had attacked a Russian arms plant.
In its daily briefing, the Russian Defense Ministry said that Russian forces struck 139 areas over the past 24 hours, with targets including energy and transport infrastructure used by Ukrainian forces, and Ukraine's drone assembly workshop, storage and launch site.
On the same day, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on social media that Ukraine’s long-range sanctions have targeted the Rostov region. The Kamensky Combine, a Russian defense industry enterprise involved in missile production, was hit. A Pantsir-S2 system and a command and staff vehicle of the S-400 Triumf system were also hit.
In a separate post, Zelensky said Russia is taking advantage of the shortage of Ukrainian interceptors to increase air strikes against Ukraine.
"Every day, we communicate our need for Patriot missiles to America, Europe, and other partners who can help. And this month, the United States and European countries made new decisions on additional packages for Ukraine. But these deliveries cannot take years. Russia is destroying infrastructure and killing our people right now, and it is betting on ballistic missiles this winter," he wrote.
