Under the child's father's urgency, he followed the boy track to save the boy without any protective measures. Fortunately, the police rushed to the scene to organize a rescue soon.
At 2 pm on that day, the police station received a call that a child climbed out of the window on the 8th floor of a building in the Vanke Golden Home of Guicheng.
The boy was hung in the air with the wire of the air-con. When the police arrived, they saw a man in a blue shirt and a boy in white clothes was on the wall of the building between the 7th and 8th floors. Both of them did not wear any protective measures and could fall at any time.
The police immediately arranged for the security guards to find the mattress and put it downstairs to temporarily act as a life-saving mat. They then found two strong ropes and rushed to the 8th floor to save them.
The police reached to the pair and calmed them hardly to follow their instruction. They told the boy to hold onto the protective screen and asked his father to tie the child's waist with a rope.
The father encouraged the boy climbed back to the flat after tying the rope tight on his body. With the neighbours' help, the boy got back to the flat unharmed while the father had waited until the firemen arrived.
The dad recalled that the incident happened when the boy was staying alone in a room and playing toys. He didn't know the child would climb out of the flat.
He added that he couldn't think much but save his son when he saw him in danger. "It's fortunate the police and firemen arrive at the scene quickly," he said.
