A total of 2.85 million presold homes had been delivered in China by Wednesday as the country is making efforts to ensure timely delivery of pre-sale housing, according to the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development.
To enhance the delivery of pre-sale housing, local governments across the country have adopted targeted measures and innovative approaches. A total of 297 cities at or above the prefecture level have established mechanisms for coordinating real estate financing.
With the support of these mechanisms, banks have optimized their loan management process for real estate development, introduced new credit financing methods, and helped more real estate projects solve financing problems.
The promotion of the presold house delivery work has accelerated the completion of real estate projects, boosted the confidence of home buyers and stabilized market expectations.
As of Wednesday, the delivery rate of pre-sold houses had exceeded 80 percent in 74 provinces and cities, surpassed 90 percent in 24 cities, and hit 100 percent in six cities.
