The CINITY cinema system, a new presentation format featuring 4K, high dynamic range, high contrast images with surround sound audio, is setting new standards in the field of film-viewing while offering cinema enthusiasts a premium experience goes beyond that other projection systems can offer.

The CINITY LED Mastering Center officially opened in Los Angeles on Friday, setting a milestone in the system's global expansion strategy.

The world's first CINITY LED-specific mastering of a Hollywood film, "Sonic the Hedgehog 3", represents a breakthrough in China's independent technological innovation in film industry.

"One significant benefit is addressing the issue of offering high-format LED versions of foreign films, especially Hollywood productions, to the Chinese audience. Secondly, this equipment is among the most advanced in the world. For us to promote it internationally is great. It is essential to solve the issue of content availability. With Hollywood films and our mastering center, this problem has now been resolved," said Li Shuping, chief technical expert at China Film.

At a CINITY theater in Beijing, the groundbreaking technology is set to transform movie-going experience. This innovation could reshape the Chinese film market and further boost the nation’s already booming box office, said experts.

In 2024, China's box office revenue surpassed 42.5 billion yuan (about 6 billion U.S. dollars), signaling rapid growth and the emergence of new trends.

"From the perspective of cinema operations, the audience now pay more attention to technical aspects like frame rate and viewing quality. For example, films like "The Wandering Earth 2", run at 120 frames per second, and only in theaters equipped with high-frame-rate technology can someone experience its full potential," said Wu Ying, a manger at Tiantian Cinema.

As China's film technology continues to evolve, new innovations aim to provide audiences with unparalleled viewing experiences.

Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have reaffirmed that they will not seek normalization of ties with Israel, rejecting U.S. President Donald Trump's call for the two countries to join the Abraham Accords.

Saudi Arabia's position on the Palestinian issue remains unchanged, a Saudi source told Al Arabiya TV on Monday.

The source affirmed the need for "an irreversible pathway to a Palestinian state".

The remarks came after U.S. President Donald Trump urged Muslim-majority and regional countries to normalize relations with Israel and join the Abraham Accords before the U.S. reaches a peace agreement with Iran.

Saudi Arabia has repeatedly said it would not normalize relations with Israel without the establishment of a Palestinian state.

Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said on Tuesday that Pakistan will not join any agreement to normalize ties with Israel, adding that the country will not accept any deal that "conflicts with its fundamental ideologies".

Trump on Monday urged Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, Jordan, Turkey and Pakistan -- countries involved in mediating U.S.-Iran talks -- to immediately join the Abraham Accords, warning that otherwise they should not participate in the mediation.

He added that if a U.S.-Iran deal is reached, Iran should also join the agreement.

The Abraham Accords, brokered by the United States in 2020 during Trump's first term, were established between the Israeli government and Arab countries including the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Sudan and Morocco, aimed at rapidly advancing the normalization of relations between Israel and Arab countries.

Before the outbreak of the latest round of Israeli-Palestinian conflict in October 2023, the United States had been pushing for normalization between Saudi Arabia and Israel.

After the conflict erupted, Saudi Arabia suspended normalization talks with Israel.
