The Palestinian death toll in the war-torn Gaza Strip had so far risen to 56,156, with 132,239 others injured since the outbreak of the latest round of conflict between Hamas and Israel on Oct 7, 2023, said Gaza's health authorities on Tuesday.

Over the past 24 hours, Israeli attacks claimed 79 more Palestinian lives and injured 391 others, according to Gaza's health authorities.

At least 5,833 Palestinians had been killed and 20,198 others injured since Israel renewed its intensive strikes across the Gaza Strip on March 18.

Following Israeli military Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir's Sunday announcement on refocusing military operations in Gaza, the Israeli military has issued new evacuation orders for Palestinian civilians in northern Gaza. The directive requires residents there to leave their homes and relocate in the Al-Mawasi zone near Khan Younis.

The U.S. share of global GDP under President Donald Trump has fallen to its lowest level since 1980, Russian news agency RIA Novosti reported on Saturday.

RIA Novosti said data from the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund show that U.S. purchasing power parity sank to 14.65 percent last year.

That's compared to an average of 14.93 percent during former President Joe Biden's four years in office.
