Russia's Defense Ministry reported Tuesday that its forces had struck Ukrainian energy infrastructure and other targets, while Ukraine reported concentrated attacks in the Pokrovsk direction.

According to the daily briefing of the Russia's Defense Ministry, its troops targeted Ukrainian energy infrastructure supporting military facilities, troop deployment points and foreign mercenary bases during the past 24 hours.

Additionally, Russian air defense systems successfully shot down four aerial bombs, one HIMARS rocket and 202 Ukrainian drones.

On the same day, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported 86 clashes along the frontlines as of Monday afternoon, with 37 of them taking place in Pokrovsk. Ukrainian forces are working to contain Russian advances, said its report.

At a press briefing on Tuesday, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told reporters that Russia remains open to potential new peace talks, saying they are waiting for Ukraine to propose possible dates for a new mediation meeting and would make an announcement once an agreement is reached.

Peskov criticized continued Western weapons shipments to Ukraine, arguing that such actions run counter to peace efforts. He added that Europe's current approach appears completely focused on prolonging military operations.
