The 2025 China International Big Data Industry Expo opened Thursday in Guiyang, capital of southwest China's Guizhou Province, highlighting data resources as a key driver of artificial intelligence.
The expo spotlights cutting-edge innovations that are successfully integrating data with AI, aiming to drive the convergence and value realization of data resources. According to organizers, these technologies are expected to contribute to industrial upgrading and high-quality economic growth in the country.
Themed "Data Drives Industrial Momentum, Intelligence Unlocks the Future," this year's expo features six themed exhibition halls on big data's leading role in industries and its applications in infrastructure, services and innovation, attracting 375 exhibitors from China and abroad.
The expo will host 26 exchange activities structured around the five key areas of data elements, data industry, digital economy, data infrastructure and international cooperation. Supply-and-demand matchmaking activities will also be held at the event, connecting clients and service providers in fields such as data annotation and the digital economy.
