The 7th China Helicopter Exposition wrapped up Sunday in Tianjin, spotlighting cutting-edge aircraft and aerobatic displays that drew tens of thousands of spectators and marked major debuts in China's low-altitude aviation sector.

The four-day event showcased 52 aircraft models, including helicopters, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, attracting a total of 70,000 spectators.

It also featured an expanded low-altitude economy exhibition area and debuted multiple military helicopters, civilian helicopters and other low-altitude aircraft, such as the Z-20T assault helicopter.

"It's amazing, and the sky is bright blue, so I have taken some very good pictures," said a spectator.

"It's incredible. I can feel our country is strong. And it's very reassuring to see it is defended by such excellent servicemen," said another spectator.

At the event, the Chinese People's Liberation Army displayed a select array of helicopter models, UAVs and onboard weapons in the exhibition area.

Fenglei, the only armed helicopter demonstration team of the Chinese military, sent three models of 11 helicopters to perform a variety of stunts at the air show, including one featuring the Z-20T helicopter, an assault variant of China's Z-20 utility helicopter.

"The debuting Z-20T, the performances of the aerobatic team, and the firing of decoy flares are all very impressive. These aircraft on static display, though not activated and just being parked here, make us feel intimidating in a good way. Our country is really strong," said another spectator.

"From this side to the other, we can see the evolution from old models to new models of armed helicopters and deeply feel that our country is becoming stronger and more prosperous," said another spectator.

Held every alternative year in Tianjin since 2011, the China Helicopter Exposition provides a platform for global helicopter manufacturers to display equipment, exchange technology and promote international cooperation.

It is the only national-level professional international helicopter exhibition in China and the only helicopter expo with aerobatic performances worldwide.

Thailand's caretaker Prime Minister and Bhumjaithai Party leader Anutin Charnvirakul announced on Sunday that the Bhumjaithai Party had won Thailand's House of Representatives election.

With more than 87 percent of ballots counted by the country's Election Commission, the Bhumjaithai Party was leading the vote, followed by the People's Party and the Pheu Thai Party in third.

Speaking earlier, People's Party leader Natthaphong Ruengpanyawut said his party accepted the results so far and was prepared to serve as the opposition if Bhumjaithai succeeds in forming a government.

About 50 million eligible voters cast ballots on Sunday to elect all 500 members of the lower house. A simple majority of 251 seats is required to elect a prime minister and form a new government.
