China hopes that Syria's transitional government will fulfill the country's international counter-terrorism obligations, said Fu Cong, China's permanent representative to the United Nation, at a UN Security Council meeting on Wednesday.
At the meeting on political and humanitarian situations in Syria, Fu said terrorism remains a major challenge for Syria's national reconstruction, and the presence of foreign terrorist fighters in the country are particularly worrying.
"The Syrian side has promised that Syria will not become a source of threat to any other countries. China hopes that Syria's transitional government will fulfill its counter-terrorism obligations and take effective measures to firmly crack down on all international terrorist organizations listed by the UN Security Council, including the East Turkestan Islamic Movement," said Fu.
Fu also stressed that the Golan Heights is internationally acknowledged as occupied Syrian territory, thereby Israel should withdraw from the place as soon as possible with respect for the Agreement on Disengagement signed in 1974.

Herminie said in his message that since the establishment of diplomatic ties 50 years ago, the relations between Seychelles and China have steadily developed on the basis of mutual respect, mutual trust and common development.
