A full-process rehearsal of the 15th National Games' closing ceremony was held in Shenzhen City of south China's Guangdong Province on Tuesday.

The 15th National Games, running from Nov 9 to 21, mark the first time that the three Chinese regions, namely Guangdong Province, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the Macao Special Administrative Region, are co-hosting the country's highest-level and largest national multi-sport event.

The rehearsal ensured seamless alignment of stage design, props, lighting, and performers, optimizing the interaction among all segments to achieve optimal stage results.

"We will present fancy rope skipping in the closing ceremony, including single unders, double unders, triple unders, and some slide steps and gymnastic movements. We hope that audience will feel the vitality of Shenzhen kids in our dynamic moves," said Wu Junbo,a local student.

Performers of the closing ceremony have been refining on details in the last stretch so as to give their best on Friday night.

"Standing posture and marching are the basic elements in formation. Meanwhile, strength is the foundation to hold up instruments. So, via routine weight trainings, the leg and waist strength of young performers will be enhanced. In this way, they will hold their instruments more steadily with better posture," said Deng Senhao, an instructor.

The closing ceremony will present China's sportsmanship and showcase the brimming vigor of the Greater Bay Area.

This is also the first time in the history of National Games that a closing ceremony will be set against a beach scene.

"I think it was really phenomenal. Performers were great, and the setting was quite magnificent," said Liu Qi, an audience member.

U.S. President Donald Trump said he is strongly considering pulling the United States out of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) after the alliance failed to join the attacks on Iran, The Telegraph reported on Wednesday.

When asked if he would reconsider America's membership in the alliance after the conflict, he said the question is "beyond reconsideration," adding, "I was never swayed by NATO. I always knew they were a paper tiger."

Trump also expressed dissatisfaction with NATO for "not being there," saying it was "actually hard to believe."

Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said Trump would make a decision on the future of NATO given the fact that some U.S. allies refuse to provide support, after the end of U.S. military operations against Iran.

Following Trump's criticism, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said he is not changing his position on the war.

Multiple European countries have kept their distance from the conflict with Iran. Starmer on Monday said his country will not get dragged into the conflict "whatever the pressure and whoever it's coming from," while Spain on Monday closed its airspace to all flights related to the U.S. and Israeli military strikes on Iran.
