The value of China's international trade in goods and services totaled approximately 4.418 trillion yuan (about 630 billion U.S. dollars) in November, official data showed on Friday.
Of the total, the exports of goods came in at about 2.248 trillion yuan (320 billion U.S. dollars) and imports exceeded 1.593 trillion yuan (227 billion U.S. dollars), resulting in a surplus of 654.7 billion yuan (93 billion U.S. dollars), according to the latest official data released by the State Administration of Foreign Exchange.
In the month, the exports of services totaled 246.5 billion yuan (35 billion U.S. dollars) and imports reached 329.8 billion yuan (47 billion U.S. dollars), resulting in a deficit of 83.3 billion yuan (11.8 billion U.S. dollars).
The main categories of trade in services in November included transport services, which recorded an import and export volume of 174.7 billion yuan (24.9 billion U.S. dollars), and travel services, which reached 164.1 billion yuan (23.4 billion U.S. dollars). Other commercial services accounted for 103.8 billion yuan (14.8 billion U.S. dollars), while telecommunications, computer and information services totaled 56.9 billion yuan (8.1 billion U.S. dollars).
In U.S. dollar terms, China's exports of goods and services amounted to 351.6 billion U.S. dollars in November, and its imports came to 271.1 billion U.S. dollars, resulting in a surplus of 80.5 billion U.S. dollars, according to the data.
