Russia said on Tuesday that its forces had launched massive strikes on Ukrainian energy and military-industrial infrastructure with precision-guided munitions and drones, while Ukraine reported that its troops had attacked a Russian drone factory.

In its latest briefing, the Russian Defense Ministry said that over the past 24 hours, Russian military forces targeted over 150 sites, including ammunition depots, fuel warehouses, and temporary deployment points for Ukrainian troops and foreign mercenaries.

The Russian forces also shot down multiple Ukrainian drones in Rostov and Belgorod regions.

Also on Tuesday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Russia launched nearly 300 drones, 18 ballistic missiles, and seven cruise missiles targeting his country's energy infrastructure.

The attacks triggered power outages in several regions, including Kyiv and Odessa, said Ukraine's Ministry of Energy.

Meanwhile, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that its forces had struck a Russian drone plant in Rostov Oblast.

The Ukrainian forces also struck the Russian force's air defense missile systems in the Zaporizhzhia region, the Ukrainian side said.

In another development, then-Defense Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said on Tuesday at the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament, ahead of a vote on his dismissal that Ukraine received 23 long- and medium-range air defense systems and 11,000 missiles for those systems in 2025.

Calling them the largest delivery since the start of the Russia-Ukraine conflict in 2022, Shmyhal said Ukraine's air defenses had been reinforced with four Patriot systems.

Shmyhal said that substantial efforts were made last year to secure the delivery of Swedish Gripen fighter jets and French Rafale fighter aircraft to Ukraine.

Ukraine also received 45 billion U.S. dollars in security assistance from international partners in 2025, a 30 percent increase from 2024, he added.

China's BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS) will carry out an in-orbit upgrade in the near future to further improve service quality and optimize the operational status of some satellites, according to the China Satellite Navigation Office.

During the upgrade period, the office said it will continue to strengthen joint commissioning and testing of satellites in orbit, as well as monitoring and maintenance of service performance, in order to ensure a stable user experience.

The BeiDou system is a mature, fully functional and high-performing global satellite navigation system, and it currently has 50 satellites in orbit. The accuracy of its space signal is better than two meters, while global positioning accuracy is better than 10 meters. The system also achieves a velocity measurement accuracy better than 0.2 meters per second and timing accuracy within 20 nanoseconds.

So far, the BeiDou system has become deeply integrated into China's overall economic and social development, continuing to provide high-precision positioning, navigation and timing services to a wide range of users, and serving as a key technological enabler for industrial development and people's daily life.
