Fertility care that feels personal, empowering, and rooted in trust has arrived in Danbury. At the heart of the new office is Dr. Maya Barsky (MD, MSCI), a board-certified reproductive endocrinologist known for her thoughtful care and deep commitment to patients’ well-being. Dr. Barsky, who is fluent in Russian, brings a rare blend of medical excellence and emotional intelligence to every encounter.

“I’m honored to walk alongside each patient as they navigate this journey,” said Dr. Barsky. “In Danbury, we’re offering a space where you feel heard, supported, and truly known. Even when some procedures are performed at our main Farmington office, I’ll be with you every step of the way.”

CARS’ expansion to Danbury reflects its mission: to meet patients where they are—geographically, emotionally, and medically. As part of a team long trusted throughout Connecticut, this location offers continuity of care with Dr. Barsky for most visits and a seamless connection to CARS’ advanced labs and procedures in Farmington.

“This isn’t just about opening a new office—it’s about deepening the connection with our patients,” said Allie Cunningham, Practice Operations Director. “Whether you're just starting your fertility journey or exploring your options, we want you to feel supported, informed, and empowered.”

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Philadelphia Eagles running back Ja’Quinden Jackson was released from a hospital and traveled home with the team after he was injured in a preseason game at New England on Saturday night.

Jackson tackled Lan Larison of the Patriots on the opening kickoff and lay motionless right after making the hit.

The Eagles announced on Saturday night that Jackson had strength and movement in all extremities and had been taken to a hospital for further evaluation.

After he was injured, medical personnel from both teams attended to him and quickly called for a backboard and ambulance.

Players from both teams knelt near the sideline as Jackson was strapped onto a stretcher. Eagles players surrounded Jackson briefly before he was loaded into the ambulance and he was seen briefly raising his left arm.

Jackson was on Jacksonville's practice squad last season as a rookie. He ran for 2,148 yards and 29 touchdowns in college, spending his last year at Arkansas after three seasons at Utah.
