Another projectile hit the premises of Iran's Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant on Tuesday evening, while Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that attacks had been launched targeting multiple sites inside Israel.
It's the second attack on the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant since the U.S.-Israeli military strikes started on Feb 28.
Iran's authorities said there was no damage to the nuclear plant itself nor injuries to the staff, and the condition of the plant remains normal.
Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)Rafael Grossi on Tuesday reiterated his call for maximum restraint to avoid nuclear safety risks during the ongoing conflict.
In addition, explosions were heard in the central Iranian city of Yazd and the southern city of Shiraz on Tuesday evening.
The Iranian forces announced on Tuesday that it targeted Erbil International Airport in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq with surface-to-surface missiles.
The IRGC on the same day launched the 79th wave of Operation True Promise 4, targeting multiple sites inside Israel with missiles and attack drones.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said Tuesday that it has struck more than 3,000 targets in Iran since its military operation began on Feb 28.
In a statement, the IDF said the strikes are part of ongoing efforts to further degrade Iran's "core systems and capabilities."
Earlier that day, the Israeli Air Force bombed a key ammunition production plant in Isfahan, and attacked multiple targets including ballistic missile launching sites, weapons production sites and air defense systems.
On Monday, dozens of Israeli Air Force fighter jets conducted a large-scale wave of airstrikes targeting infrastructure sites in central Tehran based on real-time intelligence, the statement said.
The targets included several command centers, among them two belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Intelligence Organization and one affiliated with Iran's Intelligence Ministry, it said, adding that weapons storage facilities and air defense systems were also hit.
The U.S. Central Command said it has struck more than 9,000 targets inside Iran.
