A flower-themed travel route featuring flower show, flower market and parks with blossoms has become a highlight of spring economy in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region(HKSAR).

Starting from March 20, the 10-day Hong Kong Flower Show themed "A Fragrant Journey through Hong Kong" is a must-visit event for gardening and flower enthusiasts.

This year's flower show presented a dazzling array of blossoms, artistic floral displays, and landscaped gardens.

A flower Market in Mong Kok is known for its wide variety of flowers. Many citizens and tourists go there to select flowers and take them home as the gifts of spring.

"Spring has just arrived and many tourists have come to Hong Kong. Welcome everyone to Hong Kong to buy and see flowers. The flowers in spring are very beautiful," said a local resident.

Apart from flower shows and markets, flowers can be seen everywhere in Hong Kong.

The Hong Kong Park, located in Central, is a top choice for local residents to relax and tourists to take photos.

"I like appreciating flowers because it is very peaceful here," said another local resident.

"The atmosphere is nice. I like the spring, all the fish in the ponds and the flowers," said a tourist from the Netherlands.

Nowadays, the flower-themed economy is no longer merely a simple leisure and entertainment activity. Instead, it has evolved into a composite economic form centered on flower landscapes, integrating ecological resources, urban landscapes, and tourism services.

"Hong Kong not only has the natural advantage of developing flower economy, but also enjoys the advantages of convenient transportation, a mature service system and a high degree of internationalization. As a result, the tour to view flowers can be transformed into a tourism experience product to attract tourists around the world to visit Hong Kong," said Wang Xin, a person in charge of a travel agency.
