President of 80th session of UNGA to visit China: FM spokesman

President of the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) Annalena Baerbock will visit China from April 29 to 30, a Chinese foreign ministry spokesman announced on Tuesday.

Speaking at a regular press briefing in Beijing, Lin Jian, the spokesman, said "At the invitation of Wang Yi, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Chinese foreign minister, President of the 80th Session of the UNGA Annalena Baerbock will visit China from April 29 to 30."

Hong Kong's stock market ended lower Tuesday with the benchmark Hang Seng Index down 0.95 percent to close at 25,679.78 points.

The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index fell 1.27 percent to end at 8,644.81 points, and the Hang Seng Tech Index fell 2.28 percent to end at 4,827.19 points.
