Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson on Monday described the country's proposals to the United States as "legitimate, responsible and generous," calling on the U.S. side to abandon its "unreasonable demands."
Speaking at a news conference, Esmaeil Baghaei said all of Iran's proposals serve not only its national interests but also the stability, security and well‑being of the region and the wider world.
Iran's demands include an end to the war, the lifting of the blockade and maritime piracy, the release of Iranian assets unjustly frozen under U.S. pressure, ensuring safe navigation through the Strait of Hormuz, and maintaining security in the region and Lebanon, according to the spokesperson.
