Precision robotics and digital service equipment for industry, agriculture and healthcare have become primary attractions among Russian attendees at the 10th China-Russia Expo, ongoing in the northeast Chinese city of Harbin.
The expo is the largest comprehensive exhibition platform between China and Russia. It is organized alternately by the two countries.
Running from May 17 to 21, this year's expo is decoding a new chapter of cooperation driven by innovation, pragmatism and intelligence, witnessing deepening strategic coordination between the two neighboring countries.
Russian businesspeople said they were drawn to the cutting-edge technologies on exhibition.
"At the expo, we were first attracted by the sci-tech products from China. These products are powerful and widely used in multiple fields. We are very happy to participate in the event," said Andrey, a Russian exhibitor.
"I really like the large number of robots displayed by Chinese companies and medical equipment. They are very user-friendly. This has also attracted the interest of companies from Primorsky Krai," said Leonid, a representative from Russia's Primorsky Krai Entrepreneurship Support Center.
This year's expo has attracted more than 1,500 enterprises from 46 countries and regions. High-tech firms and specialized, sophisticated enterprises account for more than 20 percent of exhibitors at the event, which showcases more than 500 new products and equipment, as well as over 800 new projects, technologies, and cooperation initiatives.
