The Fourth China International Supply Chain Expo will stage the inaugural launches of over 160 new products from across the world, Li Xingqian, vice chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, said at a press conference on Friday in Beijing.
Scheduled to take place in Beijing from June 22 to 26, the expo will debut a special exhibition area for artificial intelligence (AI), Li told reporters.
"This edition of expo has upgraded the 'digital technology chain' to the 'digital and smart technology chain,' debuting a special AI area. Additionally, the area of 'innovation chain,' introduced last year, has also been refined and elevated in quality. Over 160 global premieres, debut exhibitions, and inaugural launches are anticipated throughout the expo. The CISCE Premiere Stage will host more than 30 high-profile launch events, where exhibiting enterprises will spotlight a fresh array of new products, cutting-edge technologies, innovative services and immersive application scenarios," Li said.
The Xiong'an New Area, a much-anticipated "city of the future" in China's Hebei Province, will also participate in the expo.
"Making its debut as an independent exhibitor, the Xiong'an New Area will focus on demonstrating its capacity for independent innovation, as well as the ecosystem of high-end, sophisticated industries such as AI and aerospace technology," Li said.
As this year marks 2026 APEC "China Year", the APEC China Business Forum 2026 will be convened on the eve of the expo, Li said.
Coinciding with the inaugural year of the island-wide special customs operations in the Hainan Free Trade Port, Hainan Province will serve as the expo's guest of honor. It will highlight the strengthening and extension of modern service industry chains through institutional innovation, showcasing global supply chain cooperation opportunities within the Free Trade Port, he said.
As the world's first national-level exhibition focusing on supply chains, the China International Supply Chain Expo is an internationally shared public product.
First held in 2023, the expo has contributed to building more secure, stable, open and inclusive global industrial and supply chains, according to the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.
