The 2nd China Tourism Entrepreneurs Summit opened on Wednesday in Xiamen, east China's Fujian Province, gathering over 1,000 officials from tourism and cultural departments and representatives of tourism companies from across the nation.

Renowned entrepreneurs and industry leaders were invited to deliver presentations at the meeting, sharing new ideas, new pathways, and new drivers of growth shaping the tourism industry in the new era.

"Today's tourism industry has already moved far beyond its traditional scope. It has entered an era defined by novel content, experience, and lifestyle, truly breaking down boundaries and deeply promoting industrial integration," said Ge Lei, secretary-general of the China Tourism Association.
