China's capital city Beijing launched a special job fair for university graduates on Thursday, offering over 20,000 job positions both online and offline.

The job fair for Beijing graduates was held under China's national employment campaign "Guopin Action", which is jointly sponsored by China Media Group, the Ministry of Education, State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, and five other departments.

Since its launch in 2020, the "Guopin Action" campaign has brought together more than 140,000 well-known companies, offering over 13 million job positions and receiving more than 88 million resumes. More than 4,000 online and offline recruitment events have also been organized nationwide.

Hong Kong's stock market ended lower Thursday with the benchmark Hang Seng Index down 1.59 percent to close at 23,924.81 points.

The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index fell 2.06 percent to end at 7,976.04 points, and the Hang Seng Tech Index fell 1.39 percent to end at 4,604.35 points.
